hello
Im trying to get through the tutorial (Navigaion,
automatic) but when im told to select a drone nothing shows in the overiew.Nothing found is all it says.Made sure it was set to default and still nothing, log out and in no change.Any suggestions would be appreciated

It could be that you need to go to a waypoint first. Try rightclicking in space and see if there's any locations you can warp to at the bottom of the right click menu.
Maybe the default overview isn't showing the drone. You could try going to your overview settings and having it show everything, and either remove stuff you dont need (belts, moons, planets etc), or sorting by distance (drone should be the object closest to you if you're at the right place).
In any case, I suggest you reread the mission desription (found in your journal) carefully if you haven't already done that.
If all that fails, I apologize for wasting your time

Hard to say bro. I skipped the tutorial, it was making me drowsy.
Personally I would say just jump in and learn as you go. It's not that hard, you'll get the hang of it. Maybe print out the player manual and read it while doing the starter agent missions.

Im still not getting anything coming up in overview.I tried your suggestions and have completed my first warp jump.I'll see if i can get through the tuturial. Thanks

There has been a bug of late where the overview shows nothing. Even at times where it did, the screen momentarily freezes, then its clean. This is of course depends on your overview settings at the time :)
Only way i've found to clear it is to warp away and back again.
I found that when this problem occured, even trying the 'TAB' the overview closed didnt work...
Sorry i cant be more help, but afaik it a bug

I cant even get my overview to open! It just shows me a white line when I try to expand it.

I would regard that also as a temporary problem.
Sometimes my overview also showed nothing.
Even not my 2nd char which warped to the same location in space.
Logout / re-login and try again I would suggest.
