Some stories in the fight
The fight starts from 0630 Beijing time to 0400 in the next day. Which is a Tuesday, a lot of players leave from work and class to join this battle.
The Tiancity, China's service provider, pulled the server down for emergency maintenance twicen+üSome rumor said tiancity moved some servers from another online game,Mabinogi: Heroes, to support the performance for the supercap fight. The players of MH told us they can't even log on the game at the same time.
The maximum of 2989 players in the 49-U6U system at one time. Some pilots report that the number did cross the line of 3000,but they did not leave screenshots . Other pilots said that they can't enter 49-u6u when the number was near to 3000, the server just kicked them offline. But in this morning, Tiancity told the journalist that the maximum of players in the 49 system is 3001.
The propaganda of PIBC once announced they killed over 100 Titans to mobilize and stimulate pilots.
Ships losses according to the KB:
85 Titans
37 Supercarriers
620 Dreadnouts
106 Carriers
and 5 Freighters
The battle summery still have some mistakes, the Tiancity did not offer the official report untill now.

Great, but its not the greatest supercap battle in EVE history, because Serenity is not EVE, its EVE's bastard cousin locked in the backroom where no one is allowed to interact with them. |

Alot less, apparently 1 PLEX goes for around 6bil on serenity.
Botting is also rampant and not discouraged.

they gave the asian side their own server and a lot of the botting moved to it where it runs rampant. their prices are low on ships because of it so the cap ship fight counts but not because of size when you have titans 1/3 of the price from what i heard.

Actually, the real PLEX price is 3.6B on serenity. The reason is that you don't have to buy character by isk, you can buy character with real money. So that there is not much plex in the market. that is the main reason of high price of PLEX.
And I think botting is as rampant as serenity in TQ. There is too much minnig bot in high sec. |

Serenity was created because of the great firewall of China and how the country actually does enforce it. The Chinese government does not like it's citizens to express themselves vocally within their own country, let alone let them access content from other countries. There are a nice few Chinese players on tranquility, but they use proxy servers to bypass the Great Firewall of China. Officially, CCP can not do anything to merge the two servers due to the Chinese government restrictions.
Another important thing to note is that the Chinese have a MUCH different culture. They put a lot more trust in the words of others and had a sense of honor at least before we started to sneak into serenity and taint them lol. It was to the point where you could get legit 1v1 by asking and to violate that was considered a serious blow to your reputation because the culture was fairly homogenous in that regards. With this in mind, Chinese players would probably HATE the truly vile, dark, gritty, assholish players that tranquility breeds. TBH, tranquility is the REAL EVE. It's players are truly bound by greed, lust for power, self interest and just about everything hedonistic. Tranquility is pretty much a conglomerate of human nature without any real governance on conduct. Concord means nothing when CCP does nothing to stop you from suicide ganking someone, and that's the real beauty of EVE. Even with our corporations, our alliances, our coalitions, we are the closest thing to anarchy you will probably ever experience. |

Nexon is a Japanese company in charge of EVE subscriptions for Japanese Players, because CCP doesnt care enough about them to have them on their own payment plan.
And yes, I agree, Nexon is a horrible company, they make EA look like the Jesus of gaming companies in comparison. |

The ban on Botting is not enforced on Tranquillity either fyi.
Also when the servers come together which will happen as soon as China relaxes its firewall, it's not the Titans being brought over that will be most talked about it will be the T2BPO's which are rarer on serenity but still exist. I got sum :) |
