Everyone knows that when Titan construction begins, it would require massive amounts of resources that raise the price of resouces for everyone (market economics). Once that starts happening, corps would band together to find out whose building the ship and destroy them before they finish.
Well prices are going up, but not for resources, but for refinables. They seem to be going up by over 100% for some of them, and that would be a perfect way to hide construction, without making the mineral prices go up.

Just FYI the only Titan beging build is being done by BOB (that I know of) and they have announced the system it is being built in. effectivley saying come and have a go but I doubt anyone will!!

Is there anything to see? Hell I'd be willing to pay BoB, jump in a shuttle for a chance to view it being built! That is, if there is anything to see!

The market wouldn't flinch when somene bought the minerals needed for a titan over the course of a few days tbh.
The mineral market in Eve is pretty massive.
100 million trit is like peanuts these days. Also I very much doubt the minerals for these titans are getting bought in empire at all.

ASCN is build four Titans are they not?

Well I was thinking: to fund the construction of a titan, an alliance could hold a "see the titan" festival.
They could charge 30 or 40 million admission, and people could come and see the Titan for that price and orbit around it for a few minutes. They would also get a complementary view of the weapon being fired each hour.
If 1000 tickets were sold, that would be 30-40 billion ISK just for showing off a Titan...

the market is staying at its normal fluctuations it has ever since RMR. There was a big demand then as a lot of capital ships started gettin produced....but the market has stabalised to it.
How could 1 titan affect something in comparison to multiple motherships and most likely dozens of dreads/carriers being built at the moment?

Er, yeah, BoB announced the system, just good luck cycling through all of the POS's and scanning all of the capital shipyards before you get fragged.

Why wouldn't the price of minerals go up if the price of refinables go up?

Refineables going up in price in a region is probably just a trade war between a couple of players. This sort of thing happens all the time. The prices might drop somewhat after one of the people involved drop out but that could take months.
