I haven't been abel to play eve since the patch came out. Always when i trie to log on i just get a black screen and eve ctd after 1 min. I'veuninstalled it and installed it 10000 times and cleared the cace. I dl the latest full build and that didn't help. So what can i do. AND PLZ NO QUESTION LIKE "CAN I HAVE YOUR STUFF"

Sounds like *deep breath* you're stuck? Except for the CTD thingy, hmm.
Anyway, if you might be stuck, file a petition somehow.

I doubt that i'm stuck cos i can't even get to the char selection screen.

10000 times? DAMN.
uninstall, clean registry of all entries (eve wise)
reinstall.
Try reinstalling audio and video card drivers also.

Hell, toss in an OS reinstall for good measure...
And if that doesn't work, bulldoze down your house and rebuild

format your hard drive ... i had an issue such as this a few months ago ... I reinstalled OS and formatted hard drive it fixed it.
also .. i have heard if u install eve into a DIFFERENT directory than the one you originally had it in, it can clear some problems up i.e. if u are in program files\ccp\eve put it in program files\eveonline
or something

put audio=0 in your prefs.ini
far fetched, i know - but this has helped a lot of people. ofcourse, there's a catch...

Well i got into eve after i installed it into another directory but it froze when i changed it to window mode. Any ideas why this happenes and how i can play in window mode?

I have great news i can't log in. So now the only things i can do is to format my computer but is there some final desperate thing i can do?

Many people have resolved the problem by updating/reinstalling drivers, clearing the cache or doing a reinstall of Eve. If you continue to have problems after trying these things, please contact [email protected].

Just cancel your account and find another game to play.
There is no reason why you should have to jump through all these hoops to play if they screwed up your configuration with a faulty patch.
