From CCP, Hellmar, Oveur, MXMus, Duckling, myself and some of the ISD staff will be there. Make sure you drop by and say, "Hi!" We will be located in the West hall, booth 2100. Enter the hall, turn left and head to the corner. We have a 2 level booth with a set of screens making a third level. You won't be able to miss us!

Our tutors have apologised to us for our exams being during e3, they're p1ssed off as well apparently (I'm on a Games Programming course).

I would like to point out that, in the diagram provided here, CCP is not even 100 feet away from the far edge of what will be this year's massive Sony/Nintendo warzone, and they're practically right next to a concession stand.  It is a corner, but it's a corner nearly everyone will be passing at some point, so CCP should get a lot of looks. It's not like they've been shoehorned into The Land of Broken Dreams (AKA Kentia Hall).
Can't wait to hear from E3, guys.

LOL Well... I agree AND disagree. I work for a gaming company that has the top selling MMO in the world... You know what this is :) Oddly enough, I still love EVE more hehehe. PVP in Eve is the BEST!

Ok... Still not clear as to if anyone else NOT affiliated with CCP will be attending E3.
I'm happy I haven't gotten flamed (yet) from all the 'uber' posters, but I still want someone to say "yeah, I'll be there!" ... or something similar maybe?

I'll be there with my friend's gaming company doing techie stuff for him. I'll be hanging out over by the CCP booth a lot though. E3 is always a fun time...plus i get all the programmers to buy me free drinks (I cant help being cute).

Err... you're aware that E3 isn't open to the public, non? 
(And just to be clear, I'm well aware that people not affiliated with the industry can sneak in... but I wouldn't be expecting a lot of people here to be doing that. Plus, you know... lot of non-US people here)

I dont take the free drinks thing to an extreme and throw myself at guys for drinks then leave em dazed and walk off like some women, but i do enjoy my free beer :) And thanks for the props on the sig! I love that movie...first movie ever with true CGI. Now if only CCP would design us a ship that looks like a gunstar...

I suppose everyone not in the industry with us would like to go if they could, and if they could, they would... Right? :)
Also, as EVE seems to be mostly NON-US players, I'd like to meet the few that are so we can bond and talk some smack to eachother ... without worrying about ransoms lol

A request; please, please, please grab a camcorder and place that in the Booth Babes changing room...ummm...errr....I mean do a walk thru.
Let us see what CCP is doing and and what an awesome booth they set up and what video they are going to play on the big screens. And make sure you catch the speech on how they are going to pimp EVE.
Ohh yeah, and dont forget the Booth Babes!!!!!
Okay, I know there wont be any EVE Booth Babes, but please dont come back with just a great write-up, we need pictures and videos!

Aye, I'll be there, I work for one of the afore mentioned giants preparing for war. I pulled booth duty this year :) (which is enver a bad thing, the, er, party our company throws is stuff of legend). I'll be sure to swing by and say hi to CPP and others who get in. I hear the E3 organizers have really *****ed down on dubious "game-industry" connections with regard to getting passes. It's bound to cut down on the amount of people who got in by having a fictious website or the like. Not sure if thats a good thing yet.

I'm going. Hitting the show Wednesday, and then the rest of LA the rest of the week (who goes to E3 to actually go to the show?? <g>).
Hope CCP has some cool stuff on display. And some nice loots.
(This makes me curious how many other developers play Eve. I know of at least half a dozen, but it sounds like there might be more.)
