Whilst flying happily around tonight in low sec we ran across a lone obelisk freighter jumping through 0.4, Being happy go lucky pirates we locked it down with our two BS, and started to pummel it.
Now being still fairly honourable pirates we asked for a fair ransom once the freighter was in armour.
Once it was paid by a rather nice chap ( Desera N [UCON]). we happily unlocked and warped off (and yes the frieghter was intact still).
Next thing we know a convo comes through from a guy called Metalic [UCON], United Constructions corp there CEO i assume.
He now has the audacity to complain we are honourless scum pirates (edited for swearing)

Etc now this left a bad taste in my mouth and we happend to find him having a hissy fit at a planet now being pirates we killed Metalic in his Enyo although he claims he was AFK, Strange as he engaged our inty.
So at the end of this i would like to point out, If we catch you and you pay please dont smack us like this as we will come and eat your children
Also a side note i will pay 1 mill isk for anyone who brings me his corpse (metalics) over the next 2 weeks. I would pay more but he isnt worth it!

Well.....Recap.....Metalic - You dont know who your dealing with....me do....that would be the corpse in my cargo hold and thank the frieghter pilot again. me have isk to wipe my ass again.!!!!!!!!

The problem i now face is when we catch the obviously dim freighter pilot again?
I mean if its so important to them why come with no escort and more so why does there CEO act like a tosser. ?????? If i acted like that id have to hurt myself more often as BadTemp CEO
he also claims our 2 BS on the gate are now a blob, More so my ship had no tank at all : /
Its a sad day for carebears the world over.
At least the sizable ransom makes me sleep easier.

Now this is exactly why MILF no longer ransoms, but then we get: "Why did'nt you just ransom, i would have paid"
Then we need to go through why we don't ransom just to keep ppl informed. Coz if we shut down the convo about why we don't ransom we get a thousand and one threats or mails...
We have also stopped allowing ppl to pay for 12 - 24 - 48 hours in our system(s) as ppl have taken advantage of this and have stayed over their alotted time and dock when we ask them to leave and then hunt them when they don't. Then they smack in local from the station (if we can see it 'local bugged')
But i wish we had a Frieghter come through our system. We had a dreadnought here but it insta-jumped from the undock point to another system (lame)

Some call it lame, some call it survival instinct. You shouldn't blame people for not behaving stupid, although it might have been a nice target.

Even gotten 25mill from this bs pilot, very kind guy (respect to him) ..good karma on local (no smack) I think also ransoming becomes more easy if you talk nice and be gentle. Treating the wictim nice = They pay, respect and next they pay aswell
Note: if any use "F*ck" or any related dishonest words = all our deals with leaving wictims pod goes to the ground.

I don't know, I'm always nice/respectful to people when ransoming, it goes something like this:
me > hey, ransom is 5m please
them > **** off you ******* ****, I hope you die IRL, *****.
... something like that.

Hm... guess I am still to young to get that kind of conversation. I get threatened I take on a bigger target. Something like "My alliance will pwn you. You've made a big mistake, you should pay me money." - Well I did not ask why they're not here then... besides it would be funny to see a 400 pilot alliance going out there to hunt a 2 months old pirate.
Yet I still have problems with the english language in case of ransoming. It doesn't look too good when I try to say something else than "If you want to get out, the ransom would be xxxxxxx ISK." Could think of much better ways of saying it in my own language.

Our unfortunate freighter pilot was very polite (i think), But due to the actions of Metalic and his pompous lies we will KOS any UCON.
But to all those reading this who are thinking we wont pay Bad Temp they will kill us after ransom Fear not we are honest guys when the money is speedily sent. note*we dont take that give me 5 mins Bull 
Just be polite and nothing bad will happen to you (unless that rack of tech2 torps is already in flight )

Yea true that happens sometimes too, but
wictim gets blocked
wictim gets shot down + podded
and he makes him self "primary" for next time ill see him ..next time I cant read his whining on local "begging for mercy" ..cause he blocked (not smart move) simple as that |

To be honest i think the guy had flipped, There was some rumor at the time that the freighter pilot was his brother or something like that.

Etiquette is important as is politeness. Last night I had a NPC setup apoc scrammed and well into armor at a gate(0,0) and I pretty much had the intel situation under control, ie I knew there was no backup on the way. After the third or fourth succesful jamming cycle from my EW raven, the target stated "give me a break" in local.
They were exasperated. Defeated. In other words, ripe for ransom. So I just replied "30 mil to save your ship" in local. After agreeing to it and then continuing to try and shoot me for another 15 seconds or so I commented in local, "I'm not seeing anything flashing"(ie, reference to isk in my wallet from the ransom).
Another volley and all their armor was gone. Then something started flashing in my wallet
So you know, it's a fine line weedling the ransom from the rich carebear. Don't give up too quick unless they have backup that is almost there.

He kept on with the..one sec one sec one sec garbage at first..so we just kept wailing on him until the wallet started flashing. About half way into structure is when he finally paid. Letting off before then isn't really worth-while seeing as had he not paid he would've died. |

Let me get this straight u are going to pop the frieghter pilot next time cos someone else was rude to U. Yet u say don't be concerned if you're polite we ransom - means nothing if you think it ok to pop me cos an associate smacks you.
