some of them like 4 years old now, all new ships seems to have some kind of new way of making them, that makes them looks cool, so can we have updated them on old ships also?
not asking fot total remake, just a little make up would do it:)

There are rewritting the graphics engine, adding support for DirectX 10.
There is a whole section devoted to it in the latest EON.
If you search the forums a little you should find screenshots of the High Def models.

There will be two graphics engines - one for DX9 that shouldn't have much more requirements than the current one (but look a whole lot better), and one for DX10 and Windows Vista and will get deployed some time in the future after the platform matures. The upgrade to the DX10 engine will not be mandatory.

From what I've seen the new textures (models?) look pretty awesome.
EVE should look like a totally new game when they've finished, I agree the older ships and stations are starting to look pretty ragged.. but they're working on it.

New graphics will attract even more players to the game as well. But it will probably take a year before the new engine is ready...

If the Scorp is really gonna look like as shown in E-ON, we'll have a seriously imbalanced game at our hands cause everyone will be flying it
