Hello seasoned vets! New to EVE, lovin it and going down the pirate path  My question is what else do you guys/gals do?
I'm leaning towards pirate/trader myself Just curious as to what other "jobs" or "duties" you guys perform. I don't want to be strictly a pirate...well,  we'll see, but would like some input on what else you guys do.

If your a pirate, it will be very hard to be a trader because most of the time you will go through high sec space. If you pirate long enough you wont be able to travel through there.

So trader may be out....you guys do anything else or if your a pirate are you pretty much stuck doing just that?

in my spare non pirate time i like to throw parties for my frozen corpse heram and command my loyal carebear minions to giv me isk
honestly if im undocked im pirating 95% of tah time ( or hunting w no luck ) but as others mentioned kill enuff peeps and you become an outlaw wich is really counterd best by killing battle ships in 0.0

In simplest terms.. Killing people is illegal and makes Concord a little mad. Kill enough and you wont be allowed in empire space. (you'll know when yoru not allowed in empire) Killing NPC Pirates helps raise your standings tward concord and keep you from getting kicked out of empire.

Real Pirates only murder the unwilling, they live off the loot and land and boast to each other how big there slongs are, Pirate TS servers are generally more entertaining as we need to keep ourselves amused when targets dry up.
But we all generally have an alt to move the loot and bring us supplys.
We dont lose many ships and we certainly do not trade.

I hear pirates in there off time like to sit in circle Warming themselves at the glow of WCS drinking white zandifel singing Kumbia.
Then again it could just be CONCORD Propaganda.

U can trade as a pirate if u live in a select area every time u pop a hauler carrying loot sell uber cheap in that system,
Once it sells remeber who bought it let them dock pick up and undock warp to the gate then pop them and repeat.
U might think ppl wont be daft enough but ive seen the same guy buy the same stuff 3 times now thats a good profit margin

generally just missions with the odd spot of piracy... it doesnt pay enough at my level to go full time :)

Well, if you are determined to do trading and pirating there is nothing to stop you, Pirate always finds a way
It just might even be fun, escape the local vigilantes with a cargo full of tobacco on your way to the next station that needs it. Freelancing work, like many pirates in the Carrabian did.
