Ok ill make this quick because i have to go out in a few minutes.
Is there a test server i can connect to?
Il be back in a hour so thats why i wont reply

Yep, but you need to make a copy of your eve installation and apply the latest test patch to that installation before you can connect.
Dont patch the tranquility version.

Ok im back thanks for the help
Ive made a copy of the eve folder allready but when i launch eve and select singularity it says i need to manually patch it so i click yes but there no patch for my build.

As far as i know, singularity is still being used to test the new china cluster, so you won't find a compatible version to patch.

Use the appropriate patch from here: test patches
Edit: I havent tested if they will let you on though... as someone said, they have used the test server for other purposes for a while.

Umm. Test server was named Chaos when i last was on it, about 3 years ago...
I feel i may be giving you inaccurate information here. Somebody else will have to sort this mess.

The test server singularity worked a coupke of days back. Patched from the test patches page. If you get that error saying abut can't find patch number do you want to patch manually (BUT YOUVE ALREADY PATCHED USING THE TEST SERVER PATCH) say no and connect as normal.

Singularity (aka Sisi) is the public test server, and has been since Exodus.
Chaos was the public test server pre-Exodus. Afaik it's now a private test server.
Unforunately, the hard drive array in Sisi broke last night, so Sisi will be down for a couple of days while it's being fixed.
Btw, the channel #eve-chaos on irc.coldfront.net is useful to visit, if only because the channel topic usually has the status of Sisi on it, and which patch version you need to get to connect. The Devs also drop in from time to time to announce breakages etc. Be sure to keep the chat on-topic though.
