It can be challenging to just do your own thing in a corp without being bothered by other members demanding you join them and their activities. Why can't they just leave you alone?
All you want to do is travel around and see the sights, or you want to explore the dark depths of distant star systems, or you just want to do an occasional mission - and you want to do it in peace and quiet, without anyone bothering you.
There's those annoying Call To Arms that just makes you log out of the game and do something else. Or some 'Chief of Operations' telling you that you're fitting your ship wrong - "Do it THIS way!" Or there's someone else telling you that you've got to go defend a POS - it's your DUTY as a corp member to help the corp defend itself. Or someone else telling you to to stop mining or exploring and go get some kills on the killboard to make the corp look good.
Blah blah blah.
Sure, I know that's great for those corps where that kind of thing is important. And it's great for those people that love doing all those things.
But it's not great for you.
You would just love to do your own thing without anyone bothering you, and without having to deal with joining in on PvP operations. So you've been looking around for something different.
And now you've found it.
ABOUT US
Touring New Eden (or just TOURING) is a unique corporation for "pacifist space ninjas", as someone described us. We are explicitly for solo pilots and nomads who love to travel around or explore nullsec and do their own thing, while avoiding PvP.
As a corp we have no base of operations. The galaxy itself is our home. There's no POS's or territory to defend, and no corp operations to join. Our members live everywhere.
There's 5% TAX RATE to pay for skill books and upcoming corp benefits, but what members do in TOURING is entirely up to them.
There's only two rules we have for our members:
- avoid PvP (we teach you how), and
- enjoy yourself!
ARE YOU INTERESTED?
If you're a pacifist, a traveller, a nomad, a solo pilot who doesn't want to be tied down to any one location or activity, then you are welcome to join us.
With no corp HQ you can apply anywhere, and continue doing what you were doing before. The only change is that in TOURING you're in a family of like-minded pilots.
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
- your character is at least 2 months old
- you want to learn how to travel safely in nullsec and avoid PVP
- you want the freedom to do your own thing, in your own way, in your own time

THE RANGERS
We have a division called The Rangers that provides scouting services for PVE operations and travel into and throughout nullsec. If you need a scout to help keep you safe, then talk to a Ranger for support.
If you're interested in becoming a Ranger, these are the requirements for membership:
- you can fly a covert ops cloaked ship
- you're an experienced nullsec traveller
- you would love to help other members get into and through nullsec
- you've been a corp member for at least 1 month

WARDECS
We don't let them affect us. Most, if not all, of the wardecers out there are looking for easy highsec kills. If you head into lowsec or nullsec, they can't follow you. You're safe.
Sort of. Out there in lowsec or nullsec, however, everyone either wants you dead or is dead afraid of you. At least you know where you stand. TOURING helps you develop skills to travel safely through lowsec and nullsec.
You avoid complacency, you stay clear and focused, and the end result is a more interesting and exciting gaming experience, while actually being a lot safer than in highsec - when you use the right skills.
You won't believe me until you experience it for yourself. |

Why do members have to be at least 2 months old?
It's one of our security measures.
For those people who enjoy engaging in mischief against a corp and its members (you can attack corp members in highsec without penalty from CONCORD), using throwaway trial accounts is a perfect way of doing that.
Sign up with a trial account, join an unsuspecting corp, kill fellow corp members until the CEO manages to kick you out of the corp, and then destroy that character and start again with a new one.
By ensuring we only accept characters who have been playing for at least 2 months, we mitigate that particular security risk, and help ensure that we have only members who are committed to quality gaming.

SHIP REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
That's right, we have a ship replacement program. But we're not going to replace any ship, there are restrictions.
We'll reimburse you for the loss of any ship up to 10 million ISK, if it's lost in PVP combat in nullsec. And as long as it's not fited for PVP.
We're not going to encourage you to PVP, we're going to encourage you to get out there in your cheap exploration and travel ships, to travel out there in the darkest depths of nullsec and avoid PVP.
And if you can't, we'll help cover the cost of your loss for you.

I did a huge cull of inactive members. We have a policy of removing members who haven't logged in to the game for more than 3 months.
They're free to re-join us if they come back into the game, but I want to try and ensure that the corp has active members only, and isn't a dead pool of inactive accounts. |

Not sure of the average age as we have close to 200 members alliance wide. In the corp, I know we have several mates in our 40's along with some younger dudes as well.
TZ coverage is quite good. I am from the US East but play in several different other time zones depending on the day. Black Claw is from the AUS and we have a good EU group as well. At this very moment, 00:31, we have 12 alliance members logged on. |

With all due respect, no one is ever entitled to join a player corp. The CEO has final say on who she/he employs. You are out of line for questioning his decision. Your corp hopping back and forth between NPC and NPC faction warfare shows no commitment on your part. Many times, you have dropped the NPC FW corp within a few hours of joining. This is Black Claw's primary issue. Your frequent corp hopping makes no sense. Try and stay in one corp for awhile, maybe people will take you more seriously. |

I have been a member of Touring for well over a year now. I am a solitary player -- I generally prefer to mine and mission on my own pretty far away from most of the corp members. I have contributed to the corp coffers when I can, but otherwise I'm out here on my own.
If you are like me, then this is is the corp for you. The tax rate (of zero) is literally as good as you can get. I have never been pressured to join in any ventures I was not comfortable with, and I have been respected both in chat and in communications with the corp leaders. Although I have chosen not to venture into null sec with them, the tutorials provided by Black Claw are amazingly comprehensive should you (or I) ever choose to do so.
Again, if you are like me, the corp's nonviolent policy is a a no-brainer. I play to make ISK in order to buy the ships and equipment I want -- not to get into fights with griefers or other thieves. I have no interest in fighting other players. That said, on the few occassions that a wardec has been declared against Touring, the corp leaders have been very proactive in (1) advising us how to avoid getting killed, and (2) resolving the issue with the other corp or alliance quickly.
So if you are a solo player like me, and you have bad experiences with prior corps (or are reluctant to join a corp at all), then let me say it one more time -- this is the corp for you. Touring will leave you to play the game alone and without fighting, but it will also have your back if you need help.

Just an update - the Haven. alliance is currently at war. Yes, even over Christmas there are those who would prey on others.
However, we provide information and guides not only on how to survive travelling in nullsec, but also on how to survive and even continue operations during war.
That's why we're still open for recruitment during times of war - we just caution people about it first, and advise them of which areas are 'war zones' so they can get out of there before joining us.
