I have read about it in the Caldari histories, and it sounds like a fairly integral part of Caldari culture, for the bigwigs, and how many Caldari characters aren't bigwigs?
So why isn't there some form of minigame with splinterz and bets? That would be awesome!

Probably because EVE doesn't involve minigames. I think they're absolutely scourge of videogaming. Damn you, Nintendo.
As far as betting, some of us Caldaris labelled the Super Bowl with the Seahawks and Steelers as a Splinterz championship between C-Hawk and the Steel Menace, and then bet on it.

Heh, I guess you could do that, but I was looking for more of an odds-based game ingame. I think that would be amazing, and it needn't have graphics, just have odds and places to place bets.

I think I beat Nik actually  . Yeah, jsut use RL sporting events, make up related names, and have at it.
