A corpmate and I just spent a while doing a 6/10 Crimson Hand Supply Depot in 0.0 space. It was challenging but felt rather safe with my little dominix tanking away (92% EM 91% thermal resists and a large armour repairer II running constantly). We finally got to the end and destroyed the last overseer. He always drops the 15th tier overseer effects and some modules.
Here are a few things I'm told he can drop: Corpum active hardeners Corpum passive hardeners Corpum energized adaptive nano membranes Corpum medium repairers Ashimmu prints.
Here's what I got: 15th tier overseer effects Medium i-a polarised armour regenerator (An ordinary named medium repairer) Quad anode Light particle Stream I (a cruiser size laser)
Tack onto that the fact that some of the battleships all the way through were dropping as if they were frigates and I am left wondering why I bothered doing the complex. Is the overseer supposed to always drop at least one corpum mod or was I simply incredibly unlucky?

Edited by: Castor IV on 08/05/2006 22:06:36 Well Nyphur you was just unlucky. First time it happened to me I thought it was a bug in the loot tables and actually petitioned it.
The thing is sometimes you get one corpum thing, sometimes even two and sometimes nothing at all, just a ****ty named mod.
It has happened more than once to me and its just the way the game is designed. _______________________________________________ Phoenix Industrial Trade Corp |

Good to know that it's just my crappy luck. I checked his info and I think 2 modules is actually the lowest number he can drop. Really bad luck, eh? maybe we'll have better luck tomorrow :).
The fact remains that there are BS in there dropping frigate modules and small ammo, though. Messed up loot tables.

All battleships in missions tend to do that :|

Edited by: Shai Faetal on 09/05/2006 08:13:43 the only things that drop some kind of good loot is the overseers: gate security, the sentinel, the slave rig tower and the lord.
the overseers may drop dark blood items at times, but most of the time just the keys and effects. the lord however has a probability to drop corpum A-type, repairers, energized nanos, plates and ashimu prints, 6/10 donot drop active hardners.
ccp changed the lords loot table to dropping ashimu instead of bhaalgorn blueprint, it also hs less of a chance to drop anycorpum loot, u sometimes get lucky big time and most of the time get left with a 15th effects and some crappy mediocre t1 named mods.. so now its fecked up to get bhaalgorn bpc, cuz there are NO complxes for bood raider higher then 6/10 .
before rmr u could get around 1.7bil per run if u got really lucky, corpum rep/ean/nos/ bhall bpc + effects and bounty, but now its down to 500mil if ur really lucky with a nos/rep/ean. ashimu bpc is crap! ________________

It's a crap complex lootwise, but it's so ridiculously easy that tbh we can't expect much more.
Average earnings per run will be about 150m if you do it alot, which isn't half bad for the difficulty.

This is perfectly normal. Sometimes you don't get any faction loot out of 10/10 serpentis and 8/10 guristas aswell, sometimes you get 5 items and a bpc.

Well I live in the systems with two of them so I get a lot of chance to run them. It's something to do now and then.
However, if I could get access to a 10/10, I could run that with two people. The earnings from that should be substantial, right? The only question is if FIX would give up the Centus 10/10 for a while maybe or someone else and what they'd want in return.
