I have here of places in 0.0 space where there is no alliance or alliances that donÆt care if you are there. IÆm sorta new and would like to do some small scale ninja mining and some ratting when my skills get up. Is there a 0.0 system with a NPC station I can dock at thatÆs safe? IÆm going to try to continue to look on my own but I donÆt know if the alliance/claimed territory maps I have found online are up to date. Anybody want to help an empire carebear escape?

Ninja mining is by definition in occupied territory, isn't it? :P Otherwise I can't help you there. Just chat with the locals and learn. Some of them even like to talk...

Syndicate has NPC stations but also a lot of pirates and is pretty dangeous. I think Outer Ring has some NPC stations you can dock at. Once you are in deep 0.0 space you are pretty safe from other players. Just keep an eye on local and mine away.

I used to ninja mine in a cruiser on my own in the old days. Now, you will not be able to do this in systems with good ore. Too many serious rats now.
You need a tank to mine.

going into deep 0.0 is the real difficulty tho.. some systems are really well protected

Then don't go through those systems.
You could also bring down a hauler, a ratting ship and a large secure can to your hunting system and then go to it/from it with a fast little ship like an Executioner with an MWD and stabilizers or nanofibers.

Go as deep as you can in BoB space, no-one would think you anything else than a member when seeing that lone bleep on the doomvision.

Even the "unclaimed regions" are patrolled by corporations attempting to get kills or advance their interests.
0.0 is really not a place for soloing, but there are probably some areas where you could find an NPC station in the middle of nowhere and sneak in some ratting.
