Hello friendly masters in the art of ganking
I come to you today for help . My main is part of caldari fw and lives from a caldari system of 0.5 sec . My own sec is bad and concord always reminds me politely that they wanna blow me to kingdome come.
Now i have an alt , but he is part of gallente militia so ofc he is likely to explode himself in the system where my main lives.
Now the question, i see on a daily base mining barges in that system and id like to have some fun with them ,so , knowing the above how could i go about this?
From past experience i know its better to have a warp in so that means i use my alt but since he can't linger that much in the system its troublesome.
Off hand my first solution would be to just make another toon as use that. But if you kind folks have another solution id love to hear it.

Create a second character on your alt account, train him just enough to board a venture (for stealth-scouting, miners don't pay attention to these). Shouldn't be more than some 30 minutes of training, as you can have most of this on a fresh character already.
Fit a ship scanner + passive targeter, find miners, scan their fits. Once you find a target, get closer with the venture, undock your ganker character (main?), warp in and rain antimatter on the barge.

Concord doesnt care about your security status... Only the faction navy does. What you do is to make a bookmark some 170km off the station, straight our from the undock point. When you undock, wait 5 seconds, then start warp. 4/5 times you will warp off before the navy gets you. The last 1/5 you redock and try again.
When you land at your bookmark, you warp to your target. Navy will even be nice and web you into warp. |

So , success!
Because im typing from my phone i can't link the kill but, right after i poped a retriever , my next atempt i found a manticore at the sun . He was afk so figured its easy to dispose and nets a better mail then a t1 barge.
I kill the manti in 3 shots and poped the pod aswell. Turns out i hit the jackpot! 3+ bill pod!!!!
And the best part is the dude convo'd me after and cpngradulated me, he deserves my respect .
Eve kill shows the pod to value at 3.1 bil
Zkill values it at 3.9 bil
