I've asked about in-game, in the militia channel and never gotten a response.
Is it possible to do lvl 4 Gal FW missions in a stealth bomber? if not, what other ships would you suggest? |

That doesn't help, in the slightest. If you don't have an answer why comment with that? |

For GalFW missions, there's a few things to consider.
1. Caldari rats use missiles as primary, with over 100km range. You're not kiting them, you can't speed tank them or count on sig + traversal to keep you alive.
2. DPS increases as you stay in the mission. At peak you need to be able to tank about 500-600 kin/therm DPS.
3. In order to break the tank of the BS rats, you need to be doing about 350-400DPS. On Reprisal, the rat MWDs and neuts, so HAMs and HMLs can take a pretty big application hit.
4. Caldari rats jam, and it doesn't really matter what your sensor strength is. I've gotten jammed 11 times in a single mission using a Proteus with over 80 sensor strength.
The DPS and tank requirements basically mean you're relegated to using HACs and Strat Cruisers like the Ishtar, Cerberus, Deimos, Proteus, and Tengu. You can make some CovOps capable Proteus and Tengu fits with 450+ DPS and 550+DPS tanks for under 400mil - that's generally what I prefer.
Just watch out for SNIGG interceptor gangs. |

That's brilliant, thank you for answering. Very clear and helpful c:
I've been thinking about giving it a go in a T3, but, would I have any luck in a loki? Or do they have no luck with FW missions and such, just asking as the Loki is the only one I could fly at the moment |

If you have a few friends, a small group of bombers can run missions quickly and cheaply. The only thing holding a Loki back is its innate resistance hole to Kin/Therm, which is what the mission NPCs shoot at you. The Tengu and Proteus don't suffer from this setback. Sounds like the caldari rats are better than actual caldari fleets. |

Ishtar is love Ishtar is life
Honestly though, a standard shield PvP Ishtar can run any level 4 mission in the game. Here's what I used for SOE null missions, and am going to assume it works just as well, if not better, for FW missions.
Ishtar - Shield
Internal Force Field Array I Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Nanofiber Internal Structure II
Experimental 10MN Microwarpdrive I Warp Disruptor II Omnidirectional Tracking Link II (or web, for more defense against hero tacklers) Large Shield Extender II Large Shield Extender II
Drone Link Augmentor II Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I Medium Unstable Power Fluctuator I 125mm Gatling Autocannon II
Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II Medium Anti-EM Screen Reinforcer II
Garde II x9 Bouncer II x5 Warrior II x5
Drones can be a mixed bag, whatever you feel like running works. This fit pumps out 750dps with Gardes, can defend itself, and is fairly quick as well. I wear my goggles at night.

From what I've seen the mission rats kill drones. How would you modify your tactics to deal with this?
Also, when comparing SOE missions to FDU missions, does one typically run into constant jams / missile spam flying SOE? |
