Hi, I played eve last night from home, and I did half of the tutorial. Now I am at work, I installed eve, I started it, and the tutorial starts from the beginning again. The tutorial is computer related? How can I continue on an other computer the tutorial I started last night?
Thanks

You will need to copy over the contents of the ".\EVE\cache\Settings" folder. The total size should only be a few hundred kilobytes. That should sync your progress through the tutorial as well as any other settings you've changed in the game.
Just remember to keep the settings sync'd if you plan on continuing to play between different computers.

Also remember to copy /cache/prefs.ini.

What do you mean? I would like to play eve on my lunch time at work, that's all, or sometimes I just connect to train a few more skills. But I have only half an hour to play on my lunch time because of eve's daily downtime :(
By synchronizing all you said, I hope I will not synch graphical settings as well, as I do not have the same kind of computer...
Isn't there a way though to just jump to a place in the tuto? Mmmm or I'll do the tuto only at home ;)

There are hardly any graphical options at all in EVE--you can just change them to whatever you want when you get home...

At home I play 1680x1050 full screen, at work I play 1024x768 windowed, so I do not want to always change those settings.

I'm pretty sure that the resolution settings are still stored in the "prefs.ini" file. That file really only contains system settings, not personal game related settings, so you do not need to copy it, and in your situation, is not desirable.
If by chance some settings are stored in the cache user files, it really isn't much of an issue to change the res once you start the client. Just remember that ALT-ENTER toggles fullscreen/windowed modes if your monitor ends up going nuts. Thar be Pirates
