Have you ever wanted to go from Curse region to Fountain region and then found out that you must go back the other way!!! And there is a region there allso beneath Khanid Kingdome wich is non Empire space and would proof to be a good spot to make some profit but this is not possible if you are a Pirate with a low sec status because of these systems called Keberz..Arzanni..Ashmarir they stop us from going trough there as they are .8 .5 systems.
All im asking for is to put your name beneath if you want this change and the devs might change this in the future.

Pirates should watch out for the pretty large CFS alliance in Khanid/nearby 0.0 regions.
edit: Btw, stupid thread.
I want newbie systems to be 0.0 so I can pirate there.

I am not a pirate myself, I've only ever attack a ore theif after IT stole my ore. But I think sentry guns would be taken out of 0.4 and lower systems. PVP is part of the game, and we have to live with it, even if it means dying. Don't spoil PVP.. Because then there'll only be miners/traders and that would be boring.

I newer said I want newbie systems to be 0.0 so I can pirate there what I mean is. A player with -5 in sec status cant move from curse region to fountain region unless he goes counter clockvise on the map and that would take about 4-6 hours

LOL zombie inc. Just grow some balls and fly through the system. Yes you can make it through high sec systems with neg status. The devs dont want pirates in high sec space so be it. Just live with it and or move to some other location.

Anyways.. I have this problem also.. and I've done my bit of *****ing regarding it also..
I went from 0.0 to -10 in about 5 minutes in FD-MLJ..
Since their incredibly efficient logs did not catch this.. they shant reimburse..
But it works both ways.. I made my bed, now I'm laying in it.. waiting 69 days before I can scare teh newbs..

I'm not a pirate but I agree that pirates should be able to reach all 0.0 regions, pirates are only gamers having fun, the game should be enjoyable for them to play as well.
When on the battlefield, if you try not to let others take the lead and have the sole intention of breaking into the enemy lines, then you will not fall behind others, your mind will become fierce, and you will mainfest martial valor. Furthermore, if you are slain in battle, you should be resolved to have your corpse facing the enemy. |

I agree with that as well, but they want the GAME to change so that his corp can move though safe space easier. A tad funny if you ask me

someone mentioned in another post somewhere about a gradated system where it got harder and harder from 0.0 up to 1.0 space. This seems like the ideal environment to me also. Sentry guns should have mechanics to be able to overcome them as well. Why is everyone so afraid of dying (****, just make insurance lower a bitą). Make a couple of small 1.0 ū 9.0 carebear parks. Make it harder and harder to get to them. But possible, such as with pirate alliances for massive campaigns). Seems pretty weird to be kept out of a huge part of a game you pay for to me.. |

i think it is kinda cool that there is a region blocked off my high-sec. but i also think there should be a highway jump that can link stain/fountain areas so low sec people can get by.
another thing, its also part of the pirates fault for getting a low rating. ive been a pirate for a few days now, and havent dropped my rating one bit, and dont plan to.

actually, imo modifying insurance so it just replaces your lost ship would be better than cash to evade exploit. but insurance companies would never deal with pirates, so lower than -5 would mean no insurance for you. this would allow pirates to be given the opportunity to raid empire space without it being such a huge deal to the mining / trade simulator players who will lose their ships in droves while providing a fair amount risk to the pirates from NCP navy and player police corps. but giant invincible guns that blast pirates at every gate in empire space to keep the predators from the sheep seems pretty lame 2 me. seeing as how in 3 months of playing iĘve never seen < -.5 sec pirates in empire space, iĘm guessing the game is pretty effective at being lame in this fashion? or do yall just like playing with yourselves so much you leave the law abiding citizens alone?

being a pirate is part of the game so we also need some tuning so the game can at least be playable i agree with hetjan im currently playing in the edge of heimatar region in 0.4 and no matter where i wanna go in 0.0 i would need to go through .6 and .8 systems i dont want the sec changed fo these system but maybe just a gate to go directly to the next .4 you carebear should consider that a good point for you cause this would means that i would be leaving your so beloved space for 0.0 . As for now i will still podkill everyone i come across no matter what .

Hmmm.... I'm a pirate..when I need to get through empire space I pay my insurance, move my clone and then run for it.... sometimes you make it sometimes you don't..... It annoys me when carebear pirates who jump indi's whine about how unfair things are... when they have to get through a couple of high sec systems......
Maybe you should try actually pirating in higher sec systems..... instead of whining about how tough it is to get through them.....

mmm coming from an ore thief wannabe pirate in a frigate who dont care to replace ships worth 100k yeah its easy but when your insurances cost you a couple of millions thats a different story get some experience then talk otherwise continu stealing ore in 1.0 and shut up

The reason for this is that Zombie Inc. has had their butts handed to them every time they setup a blockade. It took Space Invaders coming to Molden Heath to actually do damage. Zombie Inc was just pathetic. I'm guessing they've had enough & want to try a new Region.
This petition should fail as it has no true merits other than "carebear pirates". I love that term!

security ratings are not needed and spoil the game if you want to be a pirate.right now the game is very unbalanced. pirates should be able to raid anywhere they wish.a better system for helping new people become competitive would be to give them free insurance for a certain amount of skill points.oh and upgrade the free clones to match that skill point level.this i think is how the game was originaly intended.player versus player action is esential to this game.and we all need to remember it can be alote of fun even as a new character.

Look, the thing ain¦t about pirating in high sec systems or whatnot. The thing is there are 3-4 systems that prevent "Safe" travel in the circle that are the so called Outer regions, where Pirates have been effectively banished to.
And with the recent changes of sentry guns on all gates in empire space we are being pushed even further out...
This would be a simple fix since these systems mean nothing to the carebears, they don¦t 'go' anywhere in specific.
Plz take a look at this Devs, this needn¦t be a big deal.
