i doubt they will to start with, but i expect t2 versions to come along at some point

dont know if anyone noticed but the new battlecruisers already seem to be tech 1 versions of the tech 2 field command ships, atleast with the stats in the database the new cyclone is like a mini sleipnir the new feerox is like a mini nighthawk and so on.
atleast that was my impression of it, would be nice however to get some new tech 2 battlecruisers of a different type, super destroyer comes to mind

I had the same impression, that the future Tier 2 BCs will be "scaled down" versions of some of the Tech 2 BCs ...
