Im going into 0.0 with my armageddon in a bit. Ill be fighting against blood raiders and I was wondering how far they can shoot? Im planning on bringing 4 mega beams and some small stuff for teh frigates. I plan On hitting from 50km or so, will I be out of there range?

0-120k they can hit depending on which your fighting, i dont think you will break there tank with 4 megabeams with longrange crystals... Fit all megabeams in highs and use your drones to kill the frigates + cruisers.

Ah so sniping is pointless...well I dont have enough to re-buy the turrets I lost so atm all i have is 4 mega beams. so i guess im screwed.
If I had money right now I would probably go in with 7 Mega Pulses but until then im stuck with nothing good.

oh well.... you can npc in crusader to get guns from bloods:P
Also probably cheaper for you in the long run. Because i have some strange feeling that your geddon won't live long.

and the NPC crusader wtfpwns almost all spawns in 0.0... just don't bother against multiple blood inties... everything else is fine, even single inties if you kill em before the rest of the spawn locks... keep in mind that the 80Ks (cruisers) will nos you good an dry, but that never stopped me

My thing is 1: I cant train for any other ship than what i can fly now as im training for T2 weapons and other stuff.
2: Do you ever find any BS's alone? If so then from what ive heard the other bs wont stand a chance if ive got 7 mega pulses.
and 3: I know sniping is out of teh question so If i see an interceptor just run? from what im hearing from you guys it sounds like id be dead fom an inty.

Cruz agrees with the crusader NPC setup, it pwns all blood raider spawns :D
IMO Get Modulated Dual Heavy Pulse, each gun only costs 1mil isk, great tracking and good dps. And Geddon isn't a very good solo pwnmobile, your going to need a tackler with you if you want to fight the lone NPCer or else they will just warp out. Also fit a 100mn AB and a Heavy NOS. no need for RCUs/PDSs that way.

why on earth (or in space for that matter) would you need a tackler for NPCing?

No, I think it's pretty clear the OP was talking about killing blood raiders. Meaning NPCs, not players.
