Hi there,
I'm Lav and I'm VERY new to EVE. I've tried the game once before, but I was mostly playing alone and I couldn't get into it. Couple of days ago I decided to give it a go as I really do love the game in itself and this time I've decided not to repeat that mistake of going it solo.
So, here I am, reaching out I guess. I have a fairly decent idea of what I'm looking for in a corporation and I have a conceptual idea of what I want to do as a pilot down the line. I'm training for a Cov Ops and will be doing some exploring in a T1 frigate in the meanwhile, as soon as I finish the SoE epic arc that is. I'd like to skill up to be a stealthy small ship pilot and be a part of a small tightly-knit shady pirate/smuggler corporation in low-sec, act as a scout in gang roams maybe, run some small cargo in my ship through systems, explore in my own time.
However, that all being said, I absolutely realize I am more or less useless to any corporation that would fit that description at this point. Hell, I'm so new to EVE that I'd probably die in a gloriously stupid manner just trying to get to a corporation's HQ in low sec.
But regardless of that, if someone in a similar corporation does come across this post and would be inclined to give a newb pilot a shot, help me get the hang of it all and then value my services in the above-described area in the future, I'd be much obliged.
Even if not, I'll gladly take all the advice I can get from you folks regarding this, trying to find a home to make the game an experience for myself that I know I'd love and enjoy. Thanks up front!
Kind regards |

Hey buddy,
Take a look at Tactical Insertion Team's recruitment forum post. You may like what you find, you may not but either way give it a go.
We are an 18+ corp (expect all the joys and links with that). We are small and like to stay small-ish so we don't lose contact with those in the corp, I'd rather know everyone than have my own personal blob. We are as active as we can, killing as much as we can with the fleets available. We mostly all have jobs so we stick to our TZ's with a couple who seem to have no TZ just online most the damn day.
What we are looking for as a corp.
GÇó Activity, we want you as active as we are. GÇó PvP first. Jew to Pew! GÇó Thick skinned, self-sufficient. GÇó Access and willingness to use voice coms (TS3/Mumble).
All we need from you...
GÇó Full API key GÇó Coms Verification via chat on TS3
Feel free to convo me in game, eve mail me, or respond to this message. I look forward to hearing from you if your interested. |

Thanks to everyone who responded in-game following up on my post above. I believe I've found a grand bunch of people in a corporation that just might turn out to be a nice home for my in-game self.
Thanks again, fly safe! |

Hello There.
I know it's hard to find a corp you can do well in. I have over 10 years of eve playing time so I have been in and out of a few corps along the way. Many recruiters would now launch into a long laundry list of what their corp is all about hoping to hit on something that may get you to apply to their corp. Be careful of corps that claim to "do it all" because if they are large enough to truly be able to do everything, you'll no doubt be lost within them.
Helljumpers Corp does a lot, If forced to pick 1 word to describe us, most every member would answer (Sociable) I invite you to take 30 seconds and have a look at My forum post. There you will see what we are all about and what some of our members have to say about their experiences with us.
Choosing the right corp can make a huge difference in your enjoyment of the game. Take the time to make the right choice.
