A couple of days ago after the 1215 patch a hotfix was applied to the server that cleared up most of the stuck systems etc.
Then the next day came 1217 which fixed a couple of major probs with the 1215 patch, however since then the server has been very unstable, with most of the systems getting stuck every night requiring a reboot.
Now CCP are taking the server down for a hotfix.
Does anyone get the feeling this is the same hotfix that was applied after 1215 and was somehow left out of the 1217 patch?

It's hardly a hotfix.
When they reboot the server, it drops all the clients, most of the stuck characters are caused when moving systems, and the server stops talking to the client, the person switches off, sothe server simply doesnt really know where the client is, rebooting the server, resets to default, so it regains knowlegde of where the characters are. This basically means switching off a BSOD computer will make it reboot from the beginning - nothign it patched or fixed, and 1215 had this problem too, it just wasn't up long enough for anyone to know, as within 10 hours it too was switched off, to take out the agent implant mission exploit.
Server is reset when there are so many people stuck that someone decides much longer and we'll start using more customers than usual. Apply every four hours currently, and the gamin environment- although laggy will have quite a few fewer stuck people.

I do not claim to know how these things work, or what they do during DT.
But I do know that before today's DT I didn't have much trouble, but afterwards I CTD'd a lot, especially when approaching Stargates, or Jumping Stargates.

By puting the implant on mission agent, everyone are doing agent mission intead of Mining for corp or doing blockade, so they are jumping all around putting great pressure on a server and proxy all ready fubard., Maybe I,m wrong, but for sure a lot of people are doing mission right and they never touch it before.

 Yeah im doing that atm also, although i stopped once all the stuck systems happened, incase i failed my missions with my new level 3 agent
