Looking for an exciting and challenging game experience?
Black Avatar is now recruiting experienced (ca. 5+ million sp) pilots with a strong interest in PvP.
We conduct regular small group and fleet actions and have experienced leadership. We can offer you a target rich environment and can help provide you with the tools and infrastructure to succeed. We are also seeking individuals interested in logistics and production to assist in our ongoing strategic, tactical, and POS operations.

I quit playing this game approximately 1 1/2 years ago, but I have returned and although I had many chances to go elsewhere, I came back to BA. The corp has changed since my days in Querious/Fix when we took the conquerable stations and built a small empire; however, I can confidently say that the leadership in this corp is excellent, the direction of the corp is progressive, and the atmosphere is truely friendly. At one time the 4th most respected corp in Eve (when they did polls like that), BA is again forging it's place in Eve history.
If you want to come play with some of the big boys in 0.0 space, this is definitely the corp for you.
Steeped in Eve history, BA continues towards it's third year of providing exciting and enjoyable gameplay for newer and older players alike.

Well when I first joined EVE 6+ months ago, I really didn't have a clue. After a few weeks, a buddy of mine told me one of his coworkers had a corp to join. Not knowing anything about them, I put in an application anyway. Well, it's been over 6 months and I haven't left. I have made quite a few friends in BA and don't think there is any better place to be.

It has been just over a year since I joined BA, and it has been a lot of fun so far.

I was directed to Black Avatar by a friend as a new EVE player and have been very happy with my decision to join and stay with it.
I've been in it over two years now and am proud to be a part of the tradition that Black Avatar reprisents in EVE.
We in BA realize it takes all kinds; 'Real Life' is #1, and fun #2, but we encourage members to find activities they can do to help the corporation [& alliance] at the same time they help themselves [and have fun].
If you are seeking a cause to dedicate yourself to in EVE (like I was), or just the relaxed atmosphere in a group of friends who help eachother, you may find a good home in the Black Avatar corporation of the Firmus Ixion alliance.

Chinny, TS is strongly encouraged for fleet ops. At least, the ability to listen in so you can hear commands is helpful.

Black Avatar is diverse. We are doing stuff in all parts of space, all the time, and even we can't keep track of it all.
Black Avatar is fun. Check the bios of several of our guys to see our sense of humour.
To the best of my knowledge, we've never podkilled or harassed a spy-alt into leaving the game. Instead we turn them. And they thank us for it.
Some of our guys are outrageously violent (cough "Stouman) (cough cough "Admentus Cor'vion) and some of our guys have a moral fit if they have to load guns in high slots rather than Miner IIs (me). But we have a lot of respect for each other, and we have a lot of fun.
If you're a teamplayer, and want to get rich, have fun, and meet sexy Sebiestor females (I share my slaves with the corpies when the boys need cheering up), convo or evemail Exekias.
(Exe, you still owe me 50 million iSK from the last one of these I wrote. Invoice overdue. Is Teugif Sahdasson gonna have to choke a corpie?)

I've been playing this game for 2 years.
This corp has changed dramatically, and the new recruits are now in charge, with lessons learned in PVP from such commanders as Cougar One, and kniving tactics learned from the likes of Sphalerite, Levin Cavil, and Cyther. (nothing but love)
You will see a great deal of ex-Black Avatar all around eve, many of which in corps of power and great reputation.
Malnedra taught me all I needed to know about mining. :D
As for the whole PVP thing, I butted my head around and forced myself to get involved. Personal drive is a must. We have incredibly talented players, and let me tell you, nightblade is smarter then most of eve (combined).
Oh, and uh, Bumpity.

This may be an endorsment you'd rather do without but too bad.
My time in BA was great, while the corp didn't provide exactly what I wanted (senesless destruction) it was a very versatile and respected corp. You can do anything you want to do in eve (aside from piracy) in BA. The thing I remember most about BA and what I think is their greatest strength is that they understand that it takes all types to make a corp work, the PvPers protect the industrialists who support the PvPers, etc. In my experience there are two types of corp, the fighters and the miners, BA is both. There are many many people in BA who I still have a lot of respect for and coming from me thats saying a lot.
If you want to fight the good fight then give BA a try, you won't regret it, I know I didn't.
P.S. with Yoda in corp chat you can't go wrong.

Thanks for the bump Waut, and thanks for the post Levin. It is always nice to hear from the alumni.  What do you mean no senseless destruction, though? Have you seen Mal in combat?
While I didn't start Eve until well after you had left BA, I have heard a lot great stories about that time. Black Avatar has a rich history in Eve, and I am proud to be a member. Today we are doing our best to continue in the same spirit and tradition, while forging a new chapter in our corp's history. I think we are doing a pretty good job.

BA has some of the freindliest guys in Eve. Absolutely awesome corp, would highly reccomend anyone to give them a try.

I think Black avatar has one of the most laid back corporate structures in eve. Not always a benefit, but seems to work for a lot of them. Also they have some really really experineced and intelligent eve players, so answers are not lacking. Bump
