My over view seems to be permantly collapsed. Each time I tried it wont expand. It just gives me a thin white line :( Help please.

Does hitting tab help out at all?

Yes I have and it just has the same effect as Right clicking the Icon.

I'm having the exact same issue on one of my 3 accounts however when i switch PC's it doesn't follow me, thus Raven i think its a local profile issue. There used to be a program on www.eve-i.com when it was up call Eve Dude Plus or something. I think this is what we need to refresh the cache on our PC's. However not sure if there is anything like that still out there or if there is a manual procedure for doing it. CCP any help?

Yes there is a way to clean the cache.
Seeing that i allso had problems with just this I contacted CCP and they told me to firstly copy the old cache directory to like cacheold then clear the directory cache and finaly if you need the settings saved you can copy them over from cacheold but the problem might follow.
so in steps
1.Copy cache directory to cacheold
2.go into cache directory and erase all
3.play the game or copy settings then play the game
//I do not take any responsibility bla bla bla;)
It worked for me so it should help you 2 :)
