First off this is not a flame bait post. I don't care if you post with an alt, just be constructive.
If you haven't noticed yet, CC/CDC moved a 80-90 man fleet into ZXIC, put up 4 bubbles on each gate and proceeded to both take down ISS's POSs and put up 2 Large Amarr towers.
At first thier intentions were unclear, it's not often that CC/CDC is able (or willing?) to muster up that size of a fleet. But when they left the surrounding systems and finished their scouting, ZXIC was obviously in lock down mode. Information soon came in that they had begun to take the brand new ISS outpost.
Now I'm sitting here wondering what it is that they hope they can do with this. CC/CDC do have a very noteable presence in this area of the South, where Catch and Curse meet. But they by no means, in my opinion, have the ability to keep an outpost. This is not a bash on CC/CDC, the vast majority of them are excellent pilots, and quite courteous too. This is simply an observation of numbers. ISS, IAC, CVA, HUZZAH, all have the ability to individually mass fleets that can counter them, and these alliances have also been well known to work together (ie. HUZZAH being helped out by numerous neighbors to evict BoB last week).
How do they plan to hold the outpost? Do the even actually plan to keep it? Is this simply a show of numbers, a way to disrupt 0.0 life?
And where are these alliances? How could ISSN not mobilize?
But one more thing, since everything revolves around BoB (or BooB, which I like better) nowadays, what do they think of this? I know they've set everyone to neuteral, but they recently gave ISS the management of the sacked EC outpost. Does that imply just a slightly more blue setting than the others? And are they willing to let CC/CDC have an inflated ego because they took an outpost for a week?

ISS has a duty to its shareholders to hold the station, and hell if all else fails they will without a doubt hire the MC, who without a doubt can absolutely devastate any CC/CDC fleet and any POSs they put up, albeit for a high price  .
The only question is how dedicated the attackers are, and how dedicated the defenders are. ISS will not be able to rely on mercenaries to hold the station, merely to retake it if all else fails.

I Couldn't care less, been doing a bit of ISS pos killing ourselves recently anyway

3 things to note here.
1: BOB actually thinks its going to be invaded by 10 Alliances this weeked.
As such they removed all Pos Structures from Querious region so there would be no staging positions for an Enemy capital ship fleet to jump into Period Basin from.
That means they believe it hook line and sinker.
This included several ISS posses which BOB gracefully allowed the ISS corp to remove after the Bob Dreads put them into reinforced mode)
MC have pulled back to their home (Is this for the same reason?) if there is a small tie between ISS and BoB, there is a much larger tie between MC and BoB who share the same space.
Does this 10 Alliance fleet Exist - Question 1...
2: CC/CDC have totally pulled the wool over the eyes off BoB/MC/ISS/IAC and got knows who else, by falsely spreading rumours against BoB in order to distract all defences in the Catch area away from the fight. Not only have the natural supporters of ISS departed to their own homes, but also ISSN gets sucked up north on some wild goose chase leaving their home totally defenceless.
Is this really likely? Does anyone actually believe that CDC/CC unassisted could muster such a large scall deception...Question 2
3: Were CDC/CC assisted by the northern alliances who are now seeking a base of operations in the Southern Hemisphere. Rumour has it D2D are behind this one, is this cheap revenge for Trust. Certainly CDC/CC didnt do this alone, there were backing fleets keeping IAC at bay. While it is certain that BoB intel wouldnt fall for a cheap political intel rouse from CC/CDC, a more complex rouse created by the Northern Alliances is believable and would be more than plausible enough for the BoB Spys to get sucked in. Did they get sucked in? question 3...
So where does that leave us.
A: CC/CDC hand ownership to D2D of ZX. Trust is revenged.
B: The north have a staging point for attacking a weakened south that is busy attacking itself from within.
C: BoB and many southern Alliances have been played for fools if no attack on Period Basin/Fountain occur.
In whole this is gonna be a great weekend, im calling in Mrs Marple, Poirot and Inspector Clouseau to sort this one out.

Everybody Knows that something was going to happen sometime in the near future, who knows what though. BoB this, Goon fleet this, and frankly it's looking like the GNW all over again.
BoB believing anything is probably all in their best interest, and and large power who knows anything about their own weight should be wary of any rumour, just like BoB are now. If they want to entertain the 10 Alliance attack theory, then they shall.
As for CC/CDC, grats to em, if they successfully take the outpost then they have done something to show their might, and frankly, that's all their doing. Showing they muscles a little. Will they hold it? Only Time will tell, but that goes for everybody.
Anyone want to start posting about ethics now?

IAC and ISS are not allies, as ISS is completely neuteral. They are simply neighbors and recongize that thay have common enimies. Also, for some reason, there doesnt seem to be any ISS members anywhere near ZXIC lately, so IAC is the most likely to talk about the incident. Especially with ZXIC being so close.
BoB had better be entertaining all rumors (American spelling) of invasions; paranioa fits a giant Alliance very well.
MC does whatever they want, I don't feel they are closely connected to BoB. It's probably more of a common interest in being good at what they do. And of course MC would retake ZXIC for the right price. But don't ISS have an obligation to be able to take and hold their own outpost? How would the investors feel if ISS couldn't hold their own?
On any hand, grats to CC/CDC for the show of stregnth, even if it doesn't end up with their permanent holding of an outpost. I personally don't think it will accomplish much.
And as for CC/CDC being responsible for all the rumors, distracting ISSN to the North, and arranging the whole escapade with the help of the Northern Alliances, I believe that is bull. CC/CDC knows that there are many times when there is no one at the ZXIC outpost, and planned appropiately.

BoB left of their own volition. We didn't evict them. Yeah, we killed a decent number of them, but I seriously doubt that had anything to do with their withdrawal - especially seeing as they quite unarguably had the superior kills-to-deaths ratio.
A pleasant dream though, if we ever feel like wildly overestimating our current capabilities...

a second GNW would be great the game needs abit more than just road-trips we need some more inter alliance warfare like the old days with the NCA vs PA etc
