Hello,
Well I am still a new player. Only had the account for about 45 days. But ever since the new hardware was installed I cannot get past the log in screen.
Specifically I cannot get the connection to work. I can surf the web, and play other MMOs. I went to the Eve support site. I tried the telnet 87.237.39.200 ( might not be right... using memory... but I did type the right address).
I guess my big question is : what is Port 26000? Can this be changed? if my ISP cannot open up that port does that mean no more EVE? What options do I have, for the Port?
Seems to me to be bad timing that I just paid for a years worth of EVE - and now I might have to cancel subscription... sigh... I really wanted to play though...

I have had this problem since the end of April. The only advise I have been given by the support team so far is to replace my machonet folder with a working copy from a subscriber who isnt having problems. This hasnt worked for me yet and I've tried the suggestions posted in this link.

I have only been able to play for 1 day in the time I have been affected by this so dont expect a fix from CCP anytime soon. I was advised that the Devs thought this issue had been fixed some time ago. Seems some bugs just won't die.

Howdy,
I had the same problem yesterday - I managed to get around it by uninstalling and re-installing EVE. Don't know if you have tried to do this, but it worked for me.
The only real downside it having to to re-configure your colours and overview setting if you don't use the defaults - oh and kill the tutorial.

thanks for the advice of deleting and re-installing the game.
Didnt work though... but at least you gave me something to do for a few momments.
Gonna try it a few more times... with poering off the machine and re downloading...
man this really sucks
