With the loss of our unofficial mascot T'Laar Bok in real life, I wanted to encourage anyone in game coming across someone with real-life challenges to consider extending them and those they leave behind compassion.
I felt it was important, as a vocal supporter of meta and CCP being hands-off to the sandbox during the recent Ero 1 discussion, that I stood up and agreed there is indeed a 'line', which for me is drawn when the other person at the end of my loaded meta has a real-life disability or illness.
I have some posts to rethink, and if you come across La Dha (now also running T'Laar Bok's toons), please offer sincere condolences on T'Laars passing.

I'm glad you had enough heart to take him at his word and treated him well. I've said some mean things to you before but this - and a couple other examples - go to show you're not a terrible person like many other griefers actually are.

I am truely sorry for his family's loss. Cancer should be nerfed. I have an aunt that is currently 2yr past her expiration date with cancer. No idea how she keeps going.*
EvE is a competitive video game. I have no reason to believe what any of you say about your disabilities or limitations unless I know you in real life. Any more than when I hear people in-game or on the forums claim to be space lawyers or game designers of games no one has ever played. If you can't compete, consider some other form of entertainment until you can. There is literally every other MMO available. Inside the game the only thing that matters is what you can do and what you will do.
