I'd join a 0.0 corp which i'd been with a few days.
<-------- *points*
so after a few days in their corp i decided to set of in my moa (fitted for ratting) to their 0.0 HQ station.
I set off early (9.00am) to avoid the HED-GP, which i got through fine.
On my way i chance accross a netural hauler. If it's not blue kill it i think to myself. Pop goes the hauler before he can warp, with glee i go off to his can hoping to find a shipment of megacyte. What a found was a load of junk, couple of named bits and bobs but nothing special (500k worth of stuff).
Then i get contected by an angry hauler owner, who turns out to be an ally . Says so in his bio, and corp mates confrim his corp is an ally. So now his CEO is contacting my CEO, and i'll be blaming it on whoevers responsibily it is to set corp standings lol. Worse comes to worse i'll have to pay him a couple of mill for his junk.
While apploigising to the hauler owner i nearly get pop-ed by a gate camper but i managed to get to the gate in time and safespot then repair.
A few jumps later an assult frig tries to kill me, i wasn't really concerntated on the game so was already at a significant disadvantage in the fight, so MWD'ed to the gate. Then safe-spotted at the other side.
The AF guy was waiting for me at my next jump in the route (i scanned the gate from my SS) so after waiting a few mins to let the shields recharge au-nateral i went into the fight.
I could have easily MWD'ed to the gate again but i wanted to fight him. I MWD'ed to him to 6 or 7k (duel 150mm with anti-matter). I had a sheild tank and damage/tracing mods in my highs, along with 2x heavy missiles.
The fight was close, i think was just edging it as his shields were gone and i still have 30-40% of mine left. Then i lagged, game froze up and booted me to desktop. I quickly re-loaded the game to find my pod sitting in space.
If he'd had and armor tank then he could well have beaten me, but now i'll never know. In short bugger :(
The nice fellow (who knows who he is) didn't shoot at my pod that was probaly sitting there while l logged back in, and left my stuff there. We said good fight etc.
I'm not really bothered about the ship, it's just a bugger (for me more than him admittedly) that i didn't get to see the proper outcome (win or lose) of this ace fight.
Drat and Double Drat!
Now to have a beer and watch the cup final.

Good story :) The instability of the client (locking up, and the crashing) really is absurd, I've not played ANY other game where problems like that have been allowed to go unchecked for so long.

You should mention to your CEO that not blue = dead in most 0.0 space. If your CEO has the time to read bios of peeps he meets in space he must either have an ubertank or be Jovian. I insta-popped a guy the other day who turned out to be an allied but was travelling as an alt in a noob corp. His bio said he was an alt of a friendly corp but then it's too late. I reimbursed his cargo because he's a m8t but also told him that I will pop him next time as well if he travels as a neutral and doesn't tell peeps chat in advance. something he agreed on....  Good story btw, hehe... Nice to hear an honest tale of events rather than yet another eve-o forum rant. Good luck!
