I don't see why people feel it necessary to talk about game of thrones at all.

It's a good series, but it doesn't even have an end in the near future. The last few books aren't even done.

If anything, I think we should talk about the really good, super amazing, intellect stimulating movie known as:

John Dies at the End.

It's even on netflix if you want to watch it, and it's definitely worth the time spent.

I do believe I've seen it referenced a few times, so I believe others have already seen it and wish to speak of it.

GoT, TPB... tons of shows --- I have not owned a TV since 1998. The last series I watched was Lexx that went out in 2002 (and MST3K before that).

All that intrigue and goings on between these kingdoms, and keeping track of it. I remember I recently got a GoT fan(atic) started on that - good thing I was drunk.

If you people paid as much attention to all this intrigue and goings on in your governments (and relations to who they are doing what to on behalf of whom) the world would not be sliding into tyranny.

What, no swords and monsters and crap in RL? Flying killer robots (that we have in RL) not impressive enough? The real monsters wear suits and pass laws.
