Mitch Taylor	Posted - 2006.05.13 21:13:00 - [1] Dear Sirs, I am writing to you as one of your ex-members and as a person who has a great deal of assets in the Paragon Soul region. It is therefore a great annoyance to me that it seems the stations that hold some of my valuable assets appear to be falling under the control of the greedy ASCN. I intend to apply for compensation from you, in order to do so I have taken this opportunity to spell out what I see as a 'catalogue of errors' on the part of STC's leadership which have lead to my assets coming under unnecessary risk. When I placed/purchased assets in your region it was a very different place. As long time members of Stain, I felt comfortable making the move from SFHI to STC and thus transferring a great deal of my wealth to your station MP5. Over time within your great corporation I rose through the ranks, showing a flare for PVP I quickly took up the role of fighting daily to defend this region, our home. Many enemies tried to breach our borders, and despite on occasion a little treachery in our midst we destroyed them. Even when heavily out numbered we would fight to the last man (normally me ) (1) The Break from Stain Due to the civil war that raged in the heart of stain and our reluctance to go 'blue on blue' forming our own alliance seemed a sensible option. There was one thing that was decided at this initial point however, we were always Stain, cut us open and stain blood would pour out, no matter what the new alliance would be called. The reason, our brothers in stain had fought by our side to defend paragon many times. This shouldnt have been forgotten ever! (2) The Foreigners When you form an alliance it is important to up the numbers, however the invitation of none stain corps to our region was a grave error on your part. The old saying 'If you didn't earn something, you don't appreciate it's value is ringing particularly true right now. (3) Relations with BOB You cannot second guess an alliance, but you can base your choices about them on the facts you do know. BOB Pvp, thats what they do best therefore it serves no interest to them if their nearest targets are 50 jumps away. Once they finished shooting the 'dish of the day' they were certain to come looking closer to home. (4) Relations with Stain Alliance WTF was this all about boys... Its like shooting your family. (5) The disolvement of power from STC to the foreigners There is no mistaking this fact. STC have lived in and held PS for a long time. In the early days of TRIBE when Abs allowed the others to think they had a say (they really didn't sorry boys) things worked quite well. STC remained soveriegn in its position as head of alliance and the holiday makers were just that, handy for a fight but couldn't cause any real problems. When the new comers to the region began making rumblings about having power of their own, this should have been stamped out. Some random empire corps trying to take power in a thoroughly stain region! Unheard of! There were several events which even gave warnings to STC of there future behaviour, an incident where fatex shot down an STC hauler springs to mind, on that occasion the whole directorship voted for them to be booted but alas this was not to be. (6) Allowing your PVP force to leave Once the boys that loved that place, and loved fighting for it were gone. You were only left with people that wanted to make money out of it. I spent a long time in PS, and Its fair to say I didn't really profit from it. When you PVP everyday its hard to. But my brothers and I that made up that elite team would have defended you and STC to our last dying breath. The people you came to rely on were nomads, moving from place to place once it gets hot. This is exactly what they have done at the first sign of trouble. I am deeply sad about what is happening in PS not for any of the others but for STC. Its time to think about what you have done

STC seemed to forget it's friends, and it's new friends...well where are they now. Key people left and the current situation just goes to show what can happen when key people leave an alliance. I still wish STC all the best but the best people who were in STC I still fly with (except Abs who became a stinky Bobbit). Mitch for once you started a sensible thread.

About 4000 pilots (ASCN / AXION) versus our 800, we were trying to get help from 'anywhere'. Hell, we even hired a few mercs. Sadly, even our largest fleets (about 75 pilots) were swamped by the ASCN forces (well over 100 at least!)

Read the whole thing, its about doing the right thing by your friends mate. im not arguing about doing the right thing or not...whatever that might be everyone knows that with station in 0.0 that can change ownership risk is involved in all the 0.0 stations i had access too ive never risked bringing billions into them....hell a time a megathron got traped in a 0.0 station and i couldnt get it out, after a year or so by chance i found it and noticed i was able to get it out hehe what I am trying to say, if you have really such valuable things in your posession dont bring them to risky place unless your prepared to loose them Ciao

This message although sprinkled with a touch of roleplay is all about having a dig at the leadership of my old corp. Im not moaning about the stuff i have in the stations in paragon, thats just the role play bit, i have plenty of other toys :). BUT this also applies to fatex, ync... and 99.99% of all pvp corps that wouldnt even think about joining TS due to our "nap everyone" and "dont shoot bob even tho they send gank squads every day" politics and those politics havent been made by strangers, they were made by STC ****ting bricks when thinkin about the possibility of losing their precious outposts, carebear mining grounds around lx5 and the only right to exist for their dreads: complex whoring! --- Fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity.

We have been loyal to SA for about 2 years and our origin are in Stain (about 20% Sansha blood) some maybe forget it, civil war was surTalist for us too...But we still have a great respect for the Stain guys. We are learning alot from situation, and we have to do a good self-examination job, but im sure we will get out of this "stronger than ever". Thanks for yur point of view.
