Edited by: Kaell Meynn on 13/05/2006 21:45:20 I'd like to request that all complexes have a max to their respawn time of 12 hours. 19 hour respawns means only people who play in asia timezone get to do the complexes, which doesnt seem fair to restrict an element of gameplay to one group of people. US timezone would like to do an occasional complex as well, but with them respawning at downtime and 20 hours after downtime, we never get that opportunity. This is completely unfair IMO. As an alternative, make them NOT respawn at downtime, and make the respawn time anything other than 24 hours, so if it's 20 hours, then you do it one day at 1200, the next day you can do it at 0800 and the next day at 0400 etc, etc... so everyone who plays this game can have a chance to try for them, not just asia timezone people, and people who can stay up till 6am.
I doubt this will be looked at by devs here, but it seemed the appropriate place to post it, oh well. I'd at least like to see some discussion about it. Is there anyone who thinks its fair that only asian timezone players get to do them?

I guess this only applies to the best ones (10/10), and other respawn faster. But it's still a problem that the highest end content is restricted to asian timezone players.

No, its 19 hours from the last time it was killed, but it always respawns at DT. So, DT and DT + 20 hrs. (+/- 1hr to run complex.)

That's how I WANT it to be. It's not how it is. It's like the above poster said. 1 run right after DT (1200) and one run at 19 hours after its finished (0900). So if you live in US west coast, you have to be on at 5am-7am, or you have to be on at 2am-4am. Those are not reasonable times for me to have any chance to ever run them. They don't chnage, it's always 0900 and 1200. That's my whole point.

the respawn at DT is ridiculous, even if you can play short after DT you need to run against the others... (especial problematic at the small complexes)
the respawn should be more random like in any other mmo

Downtime repops don't just apply to complexes but it is included in the suggestion. --

Conversely though, a lot of Asian timezone players have to put up with the daily DT slap bang in the middle of their playing time.

We're looking into having the server carry the Overseer's respawn timer over DT (remember it and continue counting for the Overseers only). Some improvement has been done already (randomizing initial spawn) and will go out soon (tm).
Random thought: Life is strange.

Why not go with the initial plan of having complexes change location every day; and not show them on the map.
Would be far better imo. Enhances the exploration side of the game also. --------

This would make SOOOOO much more sense from an RP point of view as well.

Yep.
The entire idea of camping complexes, logging on to catch them after they respawn, etc is rediculous.
When a complex has been completed, it should dissapear. When something in a complex is destroyed, it shouldn't respawn. At downtime, or preferably randomly throughout the day, complexes should spawn in random places.
The current system is just, well... Rediculous. And considering some people are making up to 50bn a month through them, something needs to be looked at with regards to the rewards also. --------

50bn a month is just evil :| nothing can justify that

i fully agree, there must be some randomizing in complex spawn times. on the west coast, USA, dt comes at 4am. a lot of us work and cant stay up that late, like myself. i pretty much lose out on the best opportunity to run complexes because of my location. thats obviously not fair.

Any word on progress for changes? Anyone seen stuff on SISI demonstrating change? Or is the change gonna be "soon(tm)" meaning no time soon :P? Any word on progress, good or bad, would be welcome :).
