I have heard so many things in my search, where someone knows someone who did this, and also people say that the starbase goes offline, etc but no one seems to have concrete information so this is why I post this question:
Ok, I get an alt with good minmatar standing in my alt corp, which at the moment happens to be in the amarr milita, I know in 7 days that corp will be kicked from milita. Now say after these 7 days are up, if I take said alt and put a POS in minmatar space, and then have my main rejoin the corp, in 7 days sending the standing below -5 for the corp toward the minmatar republic and rejoin the amarr milita, what exactly happens?
Will the POS just go offline?, will the navy spawn and shoot it? Will the NPCs shoot through the starbase shields like rats do?
If no one has the answers I will test on sisi, just I don't really want to wait 14 days to see any answers, and I doubt I would ever do this on TQ, becasue even in a best case scenario that NPCs totally ignore said starbase, the enemy milita should be able to destroy it with relative ease should they have a big enough battleship fleet and some time. So it is more just me being curious about the thing. |

Standing of 10 times the security level is required with the sovereign faction to anchor a control tower in hisec. After that standing doesn't matter.
If a pilot has low faction standing and attracts the faction NPC, they will shoot through the force field at the pilot.
NPC don't attack POS structures.
Keep in mind that POS cannot be transferred between corps. |

Once a tower in anchored it is anchored and nothing besides a player with the roles un-anchoring it, or players with guns shooting it will change that. The tower then belongs to the corp, regardless of any changes to the corp's membership (even closing the corp).
Only anchoring a tower in highsec requires standing. If your corps standing drops after you anchor the tower you can still do anything you want to the tower. |

Interesting, if NPCs don't attack structures, but they will attack players even through the forcefields, then couldn't you just get in a drake, let a faction spawn happen at your POS, then get in another drake, and so on till all of the faction spawns are occupied shooting your drakes at your POS, rendering faction police totally ineffective?
I know that NPCs continue to shoot your ship when you eject, and CCP says it is an exploit to use a neutral alt to occupy all faction spawns, but would it be an exploit if possible to use 10 of your own ships (assuming they could tank the navy, which I am not sure a drake can, but I assume it can) since, you are not involving anyone neutral? The problem as I would see it, is that your POS shields would still be protecting you from players, rendering a system policeless.
Or, does giving them a new target with the same player not trigger a new spawn?

unless it was changed rather recently, there is a limit to 10 faction navy spawns for a system. Though they get infinite replacements, these spawns stick to their targets. |
