I'd like to know how many titans, motherships (bigger carriers) and carriers (smaller carriers) is out there?
And don't just say "i have a titan" or a mothership, post a screenshot of it too if you want us to believe you 
Something with other ships around it would be cool, so we can estimate the siiiiizzzzeee of it 
Show us with what toys do big boys play

Yes they are speculation and jokes most likely. No titans have been constructed as of yet. Motherships: BoB has at least 1, likely 3+
D2 got the first built one, the Establishment has a nyx, ASCN likely has at least 2. A realistic figure is more like 10-15 motherships. Dreadnaughts? Perhaps 200. Carriers? Maybe 150 s they are newer than dreads, however that figure will probably pass the dread figure quite soon due to their cost versus the cost of a dread.

There are no *titans*. I assure you that you were not killed by a titan: if it was a capital ship, then it was a carrier, dreadnaught, or possibly a mothership.

CDI built a gallente titan last week no? With bobs industrial might doubt it was the first either but ill go no further with the tin foil hattery :P

Finaly found what i was looking for.
Ok can all that say there aren't any titans yet, explain this then.. Titan - Leviathan
It looks like there are some titans out there after all. 4 at least (one for each race), but i'd say it's much more!

Thats from the test server. There would've been a post/news announcement if one was constructed, just like ASCN announced the first construction of their Outpost.

TEST SERVER. That battle is from the public titan tests, before RMR, or one of the subsequent FFA's. with the devs driving the titan. It could also be from the Yaaardware testing hwen the new cluster was set up as SiSi and everyone went ape**** in empire with capitals and junk. It is NOT a Tranquility picture. There are no titans on tranquility yet.

Titans are next to useless anyway
What are you going to use it for? A Jumpdrive Freightor? In PvP, it will die in seconds, and its Superweapon can be tanked by any BS that knows what what race of titan it is fighting.

*agrees* And about the BS tanking a titan if they know which race it is, before anyone says you can't always know what race it is: If there's a Titan on the battlefield you can bet everyone will know what race it is cuz it'll be well know who has what titan

Ppl keep saying that you can tank teh superweapon.. yes you can, with a specialised tank fitting..
now will you go to a fleetbattle with thats setup ?? if you do, you will just be killed by the enemy battleships in seconds..
If you go in normal fleet setup, you die to the superweapon...
Any fleet that gets a doomsday into it's middle will lose it's 90% of ships... only capitals and real hardened/lucky BS's will stay alive... the normal snipe setup fleet battleships will pop like little flys...

i survived in my megathron on the test server that was setup was an awsome fight with the Titan, i had like 4% armor left but there were tons and tons of pods just floating around me :P was rather awsome to watch

As the webmaster of the web site you linked to, I can confirm what other people said after you posted: this screenshot is from the test server, as are all titan and mothership screenshots.

you may, or may not be able to tank a Titan's Super Weapn.
But there is a 15 second buildup, And Everyone knows it. So you can warp away, and come back after it shot.

Ok So a Titan come into a fleet to attack and sets off super weapon. Charge time is 15 seconds
150 man fleet targets titan. Takes, say 9 seconds MAX
Titan is dead within 5 seconds MAX, so it wont get off its superweapon.
So when fighint a titan, the full fleet can either use a gank setup as usual, or use a tank setup to survive the superweapon.
Like I said. Titans are useless. They are just jumpdrive freightors, with a superweapon to ward off small gangs from killin it.

seeing as the superweapon has no range (nukes everything on the grid) you can warp it in on a grid boundary and set it off. suicide a couple of interdictors to bubble the enemy fleet and you have one dead fleet.
alternativly, as the superweapon can be fired through a cyno-field if they're both in the same station, you take a suicide frig, activate a cyno on it 400km away from anywhere (the frig gets made invulnerable while the cyno is on due to a bug). then just fire the damn superweapon through the cyno.

150 people all getting a lock within 10 seconds .... hahahahaahahahahaha
Try 20 at best.
Why don't you go Download a fleet op vid from the vid section , and actually count how long it takes for an untanked battleship to die, even when facing 70+ fleets.
Oh one more thing, the titan can target it's superweapon to a cyno field too btw.
So you are welcome to bring 600 ships if you want, and make sure you all keep ctrl pressed tightly waiting to lock the titan.
