Im back again, with more piratting footage.
As usual i strive to make a better movie every time i attempt to make one, and i think on certain points i have beaten my last one.
The last video starred a vagabond, but this one has 95% action in my tempest. (Lock n load 1)
Ive payed attention to the comments given about my last vid and changed it.
In the last video i made a low quality and a high quality version, but since the low quality version sucked i removed it entirely this time.
Instaid i added 3 little spoilers that people can watch so that they can either decide to download the vid or not too.

I am aware that the movie is not perfect (little failts here and there),
but the extreme rendering time made me NOT rerender it for a few small changes. (loads of "special" effects)

Well, I really liked it, I just have a few comments that I hope you'll take as constructive critism 
1st: Effects
Whenever you do those special effects to match the music, make sure you don't use the complete blackness. Going to that usually says that you're going to show something new, and it annoys me somewhat when you cut us off for a few seconds. That being said, I like all the blurry, spinning etc effects that you use to do it, it works much better 
2nd: Music
Well, not really a complaint, it just that 3/4 of the tracks you use have already been used in good movies (by good movies I mean the ones you keep on your drive after watching them (which yours btw are)). By all means use them, as they are good tracks usually, however, it does make one feel that you're copying them somewhat. To illustrate what I mean, when you use Soil's Halo track, I immediately think of Trey's "Not Atuf" video, and starts to think that you're trying to copy him a bit.
As I said, this is not too bad, I just really like to hear new songs to go with new vids
Anyways, that's about the critism I had. I loved the action, the editing and everything else tbh. Looking forward to the next one.

It was pretty good, but i questioned some parts, like going in web range in vagabond which is pretty much a big nono.
Some fights i enjoyed, but i loved seeing watson die  other than that nice pirating action, fights were fairly outnumbering the enemy somtimes, but hey, pirates dont play fair i guess.
Worth a download anyway, nice pirating footage.

Well when we did that fight i was on Ventrilo, not my usual Teamspeak. So i didnt record the chatter while i was there but tbh i dont know if i whould have used it if it was recorded, it was full of "F" words and me screaming at my tempest

Hay, nice movie. Music rocked but, I never play with music so, I had to turn off the sound so I could follow what was happening. Since I wasn't following the music, it kinda made the special effects annoying but, they were well done. I liked the text narrations too. Great job!

Lock and Load is one of my favourite videos action wise yet.
A nice part of the first video was your text commentary there's nothing more annoying than when people cover their setups.
Can't wait to see this.

Due to the demand for a lowres version im rendering one now, it will be less then 200mb (thats my goal) and the quality will be higher then the Lock 'n Load 1 lowres one.

Nice video.
Enjoyed the graphic and effects, a bit too little action considering it was 24 min long.
Using Farjungs trick on speeding fights would`ve done nicely here, still enjoyed it though.

And ofc gank arma in safespot with 3 battleship was priceless.

Actually i did. For 3 years of my playing time, i created 5 vids. And in all of those vids, i tryed to show something, that never happened in world of eve before - killing 2 dreds with 5 battleships, killing first freighter in-game, killing one of top pvp corps with 10-0 score, etc.

Try to fraps challenging fights. As Farjung did in "Reckless", for example. Every pvp player have seen thousand times how puprle squares pwning red squares. So, if you are compilating pvp vid - show your skill. I can`t see any skill in ganks.

Roughly speaking current crop of EVE videos can be put into two categories:
a) combat snapshots
b) everything else
Presently the "combat snapshots" are in an overwhelming majority. They tell a microfraction of a tale, they give you the viewpoint of one or a couple pilots in one or several combat incidents.
The scenes are all alike, green and purple squares shooting at red or orange squares, missiles flying about, someone exploding, yadda yadda yadda.
Now, this is the sort of video no one will watch again unless it's done exceptionally well (camera work, capturing the battle from great angles and close ups) or the person is trying to catch a glimp of itself in the video.
This is 90-95% of all EVE videos today, most of it in poor quality.
Category B is very varied, it contains lots and lots of different styles and themes.
But the major factor is that they all tell some sort of a story, they intrigue the viewer, he wants to watch it again because while watching it he was inside the world of EVE, living and breathing within that universe.
My advice is... before you start your production, create a script for the video. Even a "regular old ships killing other ships" video can be vastly improved by sketching out the storyline, giving background information on why the battles are being fought, some information on the aftermath and so on.
It also helps you to try and catch those angles that you think will look good in the video.
The script doesn't have to be complex, "pan slowly towards station, see battleship fleet undocking, fade to black, show stargate activating, show fleet uncloaking and warping towards a gate, enter intro text about upcoming battle, put in scene from battle" etc etc etc.
The more ambitious might want to take a look around and spot the other type b videos, those that tell stories or make you laugh or whatever.
Wouldn't you rather be proud of creating a great video than be just another nameless statistic in the a type category?
Don't create just another gank-video. If you want to make a video about the combat you and your corp and alliance have taken part in, put some effort into it, make yourself proud and make them proud of being a part of EVE cinematic history.
Of course you can say : "hey, dude, you are biased (why should i ?). Get our from my thread, i want to see another 20 positive feedbacks". Thats you way. Just remember, that criticism can be bitter, and accepting it - is not pleasure.

I appriciate your opinion evil thug, (atleast your second post, the first one was pure smack)
I make these movies as a hobby, not a profession (started less then 1 year ago in movie maker)
You seem to have higher standerds then most people ,
Since i am pretty happy with what i was able to make and your one of the few that didnt like it.
Its a pity you only watched 5 minutes of the vid, and then deceided its not what you liked. (who knows maybe i ended fighting outnumbered )
In my opinion either watch the whole vid and complain, or watch 5 minutes delete and dont complain.
I dont feel bad about you not liking it though, becouse you rarely post positive feedback about anything unless its about your corp or your friends.
Now, as final i do appricate your last post, especially what "Riddari" said, good stuff, i will keep it in mind, and if i can implement it in the next vid.

Just like somebody else said before: Most fights weren¦t fair - but that¦s piracy
The video-editing-style seems to be something made by "yourself" and looks pretty good.
So there are some good ideas in it for other video-freaks. keep up that good work.
But plz - don¦t "smack-talk" next time, and don¦t make yourself "heroic", when you let appear some messages like: "5 minutes later", ¦cause it was more than 1 h later, when the next fight begun. (11min/ +-30 sec.)

do you use longrange ammo in closerange guns? if you do your optimal still is only 4320m! or do you fit artilery's to your vagabond, please share your setup it could prove interesting.
