A couple of times, I've been destroyed by lone Frigate player pirates, usually Punishers and similar...
My question is this: if I fit a Warpcore Stabilizer and ECCM Burst module, will that give me a few seconnds to Warp without getting Targetted and heavily damaged by Missiles, etc?
I know ECCM Burst is a bit lo-power, but I'm not a PvPer and just want to deal with the lone Frigates atm I'm assuming they won't have heavy EW or Jamming capabilities due to Frigate slot count, etc.
Thanks! Im a BIG robot and I need BIG cereal! |

Well my friend.
If you dont wish to fight them, just fit a warp core stabiliser, and warp away, dont worry about eccm!!.

Like darth solo mentioned, a warpcore stabilizer will get you out of there. ECCM wouldn't help, since that helps you break through ECM and keep a lock on a target. ECM will help you break someones lock on you, but I wouldn't fit it unless you're going out looking for pirates.
Now, of course, if you want to shoot the pirates, ECCM is a godsend...

Self destruct when they are close, it will blow their ship up as well.

u will need atleast 2 warp core stabalizers.
as a frigate pilot i know that warp disrupters (1 strenth, 20km range) suck large amounts of cap (for a frigate) and usually can't be kept on for too long. a warp scrambler tho uses less powergrid, less cpu, less capacitor, has a jamming strenth of 2, but is only 7.5km range. this howver can keep going for ever without sucking cap.
the frigate pirates strength is that no-one expects a frigate to fight a cruiser.
