Edited by: KnightCrawler on 15/05/2006 17:07:19 I join a corp last night, Shadows of the Dead corp in V.O.I.D alliance.
I wake up this morning and log onto eve and it says I was in a npc corp.
I wait until the higher ups log on and they say one sec, ban me from recrutiment channel that I was waiting 4 hours at to get a answer why I was kicked.
They then kick me from teamspeak and remove my registration. I tried to convo like 3 of the corp officers and they all rejected.
From a large alliance this is completely Unprofessional.
Im sorry to drag it to the forums, but I would like a answer as to why i was kicked atleast, after all this I think i deserve it.

I'm a bit lost... You joined an alliance? were you a corp CEO? Or you mean you joined a corporation?
If you joined an alliance how are you in a npc corp?

Edited by: Quanteeri on 15/05/2006 17:45:55 You better go check your hangers.
All a corp menber has to do to steal all of your stuff is have proper permissions (Security Roles) and an office in the same station as your stuff.

My best guess would be, if you were coming directly from an NPC corp, that they didn't like that rather than from another player corp. At least that is my best guess, I could be completely wrong and you could just be dealing with a bunch of pimply teenagers.
Honestly, I would move on to another corp since they don't even have the balls to give you an explanation.
Good luck m8!

Wrong. Noone can steal stuff from your private hangar, no matter what role he has. *edit* Roles only allow you to see the content of member hangars, allow you to put something into it etc. but never allow you to take something from another member's hangar.

Wrong. No one can take from your hangers. Security roles let them look, but not touch.

mr knight,
Sometimes in alliances some goon can get the jitters, convince themselves that someone is a spy and start cataloguing all actions. This can happen with such pessimism that nothing the subject does validates his/her legitimate membership. Ofcourse this wouldnt be such a problem if alts were trackable (shameless plugg ).
One the other hand, if what your saying is honest and the full truth than... go find another group because that sorta thing is loosery

Not sure tbh. I did ask for assistance while my Apoc was being slowly killed a few jumps from HQ and asked why noone helped me after I died like 10 minutes later.
Other than that I was in the corp less than 2 hours.

Asking for help is not a valid reason to kick you from the corp, TBH your employment history in 1 large alliance, and 1 newly formed but after you left, they might take you for a spy, i'd point them to the forum post you used to buy the char. might make them see that the player who had that char while in them alliances is not the one in command now of it.

This is one of the most childish things I have ever had done to me in eve.
It annoys me to some degree also.

im not sure whether "real mature..." refers to their actions or yours by posting this on the forums.
i think your post qualifies more tbh.
they can do what they like. get over it and move on. maybe annoying granted but so are a lot of things in life :P

well since you ( i take it ) don't want to rejoin that corp//alliance, i'd leave it as it as, however i'd make forum thread as part of your bio. to stop people jumping to the wrong answers before letting you speak.
I must admit there actions are childish.

Sounds like a weird corp/alliance indeed.
Personally my problems have been from the other end mostly, meaning people join my corp only to leave a short while after with no explanation. Annoying

"you could just be dealing with a bunch of pimply teenagers."
Not likely, S.O.D only allows 18+.
I don't what issues you had with our corp - I'm sure it was a good reason indeed that you were kicked. However, coming here and publicly whining about it was in bad taste. There are numerous members such as myself who has and never will block ANYONE. You couldn't ask one of us about the issue? I would not have hesitated to bring it up with a CEO or Director in your favor.

I'd say you've done all you can do. It's obvious they view you as some sort of threat. This wouldn't be the first time a corp got paranoid about a new member and it won't be the last.
I wouldn't go on about how childish and immature they are...the more you do that, the worse it reflects on you. Reputation is everything in this game. ____________________________________________________________________

Why do you want an answer?
You probably know why you got the boot, I just can't understand why you'd want to make a thread about it.
If you honestly don't know why, then I just can't understand why you'd want to make a thread about it. .
