Personnaly, I'd like to congratulate LaneHacker for roleplaying his pirate character instead of just waiting at a stargate and blow up and pod ppl with no warning signs at all. Instead of freaking out, why don't you just roleplay too. This is not a matter for CCP or anyone else, it's between your corp and this pirate and his gang (if he has one)....Lanehacker is the kind of pirate I like. If you can't stand his behavior I suggest you read a little about Online games in general and Eve in particular. You'll find a game mechanic called PvP. And that's exactly what you tasted. If you don't like it, it's your problem, not CCP's.

Even if Alexia is only 16, she (he? whateva) has shown a remarkable amount of wit and maturity both ingame and on the forums. I would really like to see more of her pirate logs myself, they're good stuff.

There are so many counter-measures to ore thievery. I really can't believe people are still falling for it.
expect ore-hostaging to increase, especially if thieving becomes the 'hostile act' so many moaners are begging for.

Get a suicide alt.... log him off where you are minig..when a scumbag turns up...log off your main and log on your alt....
just make him a Caldari with Missile skill...use a kestrel and get insurance....I have found you can pop most can thieves with 4 missiles.... so the cops kill my alt... yawn.... thanks for the Insurance money....

Now now, don't be bashing gate campers. Anywho all the carebares got all sorts of guns now in empire space so lots of places to go now. Though i do hear it's a bit tough to get out of empire space now. BTW ore thiefs are the least of your problems in this game get a secure cc and move on.

Made the mistake of reading it myself.
Geez, falling for ore thieves is like...hrm, falling for the old Gang "Invite->Warp to" trick.
Maybe that's what people need!: A configuration setting that automatically prevents them from moving ore into an unsecured container, like the auto-decline gang invites!

it is amazing to me how ore thiefs can tell us they steal in high sec systems because the corporations there are richer than the ones in low sec.
What a load of crap all they do is hide behind concord. And as for the people who try to get money from people for destroying there cargo cans again the thieves hide behind concord.
Ore thieves are the lowest form of griefer in this game. they have no brains no courage no idea how to use any ship other than a industrial...the large ammount of high slots on cruisers confuses them or something.
