What is with these personal most wanted pages...I have been POD'd 1 time and 20 *random* people say thay have POD'D me and got bountys from it, I would feel embaresed to brag about a POD kill i did not do.
Where is the houner and my spelling in this? And are these personal pages from EVE or did people just make them up.

Podbase is probably the most used killboard used in EVE and is a real in-game character, Chribba's, creation, and a fantastic resource for the most promiscuous PvPers and rich carebears alike. I personally use the site as a means of tracking my kills and losses without having to litter my inbox with kill/deathmails. ------------------------------------------------ I buy/sell any and all faction ships. Drop me a line if interested in doing business! |

It's a sort of web-based mini-game. Plug http://eve.orb.at/info/ into the in-game browser for rules.

Edit: At least, I think that's what your asking for. The meaning of your post isn't exactly crystal clear.
you can also post on what i believe is the most used killboard http://killboard.eve-extra.com/ it also updates podbase so its a win win situation... :P _____________________________

Killboard are any PvPer's best friend. I personally prefer the eve-extra killboard myself. _______________________

The game would be better without killmails, less people would be afraid of losing ships and being on someone's killboard with negative stats

QFT
Killboards are a cool idea, but they have a negative impact on the state of PvP in EVE

Aye, some people are bloody terrified of losing ships.

Killmails are very important. Although 1 board directly linked to the game by CCP would make EVE a better place for all of us.
Without killmails nothing would be provable. Also they may hinder some people from fighting, but they drive others. Some people strive to find more kills and take part in evermore fun and riskier battles to gain those extra stats and rise a few places. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is probably what the OP is referring to. That and the fact that if someone clicks the link in your Bio, they get added to the list of kills, whether or not they actually engaged in combat with you.
Kitty O'Shea, got a kill vs. me last night while I was in station checking out her bio . There was something about 13k isk in bounty for my + sec rated hide, too. Go figure.

eve.orb.at is not, and never will be in my list of trusted sites.

Eve just needs to maintain its own killboard, and thus not be subject to any form of outside manipulation or failure to report.
There will always be killboards. It is enjoyable to know who has killed whom. But let's provide some reliability to the process.
