Not having to go through the pain of training all of it yourself: 200mil Transfer fee: $20 = 100mil Not being able to make a portrait and name yourself: -150mil Estimated value: ~710mil, so 1b sounds like a good bid. That said, I'm not bidding :-)

I already covered the time spent training the learning skills in GTC. If you want to get nitpicky we should add account creation fee of $30, but that includess a free month, which is cheaper than GTC's (which are about 3m/day), so it'd be a lower total. Or are you suggesting we should compare training this character to having it trained on our main account that therefore loses out on 8mil points? I wish I could do that in 5 months btw; to train 8mil in 5 months you'd need primary and secondary stats at 25 which is not unrealistic for a few skills but not for 5 months worth of training. Selling alts goes through new account -> train character -> transfer. Adding lost skilltime for a main is silly, since it's not happening. I don't see my main losing 8mil skillpoints when I suddenly decide to purchase this character. You trained 5,3mil. That takes about 4,5 month from scratch. That's a new account +450mil in GTC's (less than that even). There's no big capital ship skills on it to increase the price, no uber R&D standings +agents and no assets worth mentioning except 130mil in implants which can be attained by running Cosmos for a day or two. 1bil is already quite a lot for a character with JUST learning skills and I suspect it's because it has good stats and an ok picture. You might attract someone with a lot of isk that likes to build an alt but cba to train the learning skills. Or someone that wants to get a friend into the game.

I had already multiple in-game offers for more than 1 bill buyout so far, but I do agree, that for a 5.4 mil SP char 1+ bill is a crazy price (besides, this Character is already at 5.7 mill SP ). But simply don't underestimate the pleasure not having to invest anymore time into learning (as of today).

Still debating if i want to bid on this char. was a pretty ok picture. Question... is that displayed stat number rounded up? eg 23.51 mem = 26 displayed? Judor
