I don't mind so much losing a ship or two to a bubble camp,
HOWEVER
When null-sec becomes impossible to travel across due to bubbles on every other system with no alternate routes I get testy. The only way to counter these is to fly an interceptor or covert ops ship; but then there really is no point to either of these unless you are trying to move items around. Sometimes I want to bring a ship in for ratting / pvp but I can't.
Suggestion:
-Make the bubbles last less time when placed -Make them cost more
Same ability to bubble-camp; less ability to shut down entire sectors of space for extended periods of time. |

Game mechanics are not the problem. Other players will always figure out a way to ruin your day. That's part of EvE.
It's not up to the mechanics to protect you, especially in nullsec. . -á<- Argue this, not this ->-á( -í-¦ -£-û -í-¦) |

There is no other way to ruin my day other than these mobile warp disruptors. Every other kind of camp I can get through; besides maybe a lucky interdictor that caught me right as I go through a gate. |

Geez, get a T3 Strat cruiser. Fit interdictioner nullifier + covert subsytem. Put ammo, mods, and Mobile Depot in cargo. Travel to system, make a deep safe, deploy depot, refit.
IT. IS. THAT. SIMPLE.
And if you can't fly a strategic cruiser.....TRAIN IT. |

Please don't complain about legitimate, balanced game mechanics.
If you don't like what someone else is doing in EvE, you can do something about it. You can break their camp. You can get buddies to break their camp. You can fail in the attempt. This opportunity is what makes EvE the game that it is and it's why I like playing it.
If you don't like the freedom you have here, you'll be happier playing something else. Please don't ruin our game for the rest of us. QCATS is Recruiting: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=146180 |

Wow it's somewhat amazing that anyone would defend a mobile warp disruptor as a balanced gameplay mechanic. It is inherently unbalanced as some types of ships are completely immune to its effect. All it does is make gate camping easier. |

Your arguments so far:
This Item has counters and workarounds. Therefore imbalanced.
This module has a purpose. Therefore... I don't know, you were probably implying that gatecamps are bad because you like to fly Badgers into them, but you didn't actually make a statement or provide it with any justification.
Have you considered the possibility that it is, in fact, you who are bad, and not the villainous bubbles? |

Or a T3 cruiser, with a mobile depot, interdiction nullified and cloaky and when you find a plex you want refit for combat. It's that simple. Stop whining. |

Interdiction nullification is a newer mechanic than warp bubbles.
Warp bubbles effect almost all ship types in the bubble equally. Yes, nullified ships are immune, but those that are nullified are limited in other ways.
I love using bubbles, and honestly believe they are the most tactically useful and interesting mechanic available in game. I can understand why you may be frustrated with constantly being caught by bubbles, but they are generally trivially easy to work around:
Drag / Catch bubbles can be bypassed using un-aligned celestials and bookmarks. Cloaky ships can often power out of a bubble and warp off to safety. Fast ships can usually power back to gate and retreat to safety. Battleships can MJD out of the bubble and warp off. Nullified ships can ignore the bubble's disruption effect.
I'm sorry if these techniques are inconvenient for your particular playstyle, but that doesn't make mobile warp disruptors a bad thing. They are probably my favorite deployable in the game!

If u do it the other way u cant control where in nullsec you end up.ofc with the first u get in hs so u might have to do 30 jumps to get to it and ofc it sucks if the OP want to bring a battleship. |

They are VERY mobile warp disruptors that performs the exact the same function using the exact same mechanics... only with weapons as a bonus.
The entire point behind mobile warp disruptors is to make transversing "outlaw space" extremely hazardous and inhibit travel into an area claimed by someone (officially or unoffically). It does not actually prevent you from traveling though... players do that. You just have to outsmart the players or use a specialized ship to compensate... just like everything else in the game.
And yes... you can totally PvP in an interceptor. Just fit more "creatively" (hint: more damage, less speed). Change isn't bad, but it isn't always good. Sometimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective.

OP, maybe you're not focussing the actual issue: bubbles don't blow up ships, players do.
Bubbles are just an effective tool to 'catch' you and to a certain extent 'hold' you, they don't increase your opponent's capability to blow you up. Nor can people blow you up if they're not in system and on grid (hint: use scouts).
You're basically saying that in null it's a bit harder to run from pvp. I think that's working as intended, along with the absence of gate guns. Otherwise null would just be sov lowsec with dds and better moons. |
