if i go to "My Character" Section on Eve - Online Website, i will always get Newssite. Damn, i tried a million things now, but im still not able to get any Info about my Char there. Whats wrong with it?
Want to export XML-Data to use in Quickfit and/or EVEMon...
Please, there must be a way or is this Function generally broken?

I was having trouble with it earlier, but it seems to be working again now. Possibly an issue with your cookies? are you browsing from work /home?

You need to make sure cookies are enabled, otherwise it won't be able to log you in properly to the EVE site. I have the same problem if I try to access from uni.
If thats not the problem, then I have no idea, works for me :)

The way I understand it: The first time you click it, it authenticates using your cookies, or prompts for your ID/pass. After authentication it takes you to the news page. (Not sure why) The second time you click it on the same session, you are already authenticated and it will take you to the page you want.
If you go away and come back later, it will do this again. So basically, you may have to try it twice to get to the page. Hope this helps. Happens to me as well every time I go there. Same thing happens in the forum, click reply to post and it authenticates and brings you back to the thread, click it again, then you can type your reply.

It works intermittently for me (Firefox on WinXP and Mac). Sometimes it will log me in automatically (through the magic of cookies). Sometimes I have to go to the forums and click the "log in" button. Once I've done that, I can look at the rest of the EvE Insider pages.

I cant get to the My Character page either... since 2 years now. Has nothing to do with cookies btw as I have them completely allowed for the eve-online.com domain.
Probably some stupid ass Windows setting noone needs again, cant be bothered with that crap anymore though.

Got it! The hint above helped me find out. Deactivated my Firewall, tryed, succeded. Not a very good way, but a working way. Thx for all the comments!

I had this problem a while back. It was the popup/ad-filter that comes with Kerio Firewall that was the problem. Turned that module off and it works fine now.
