After the introduction of the 1215 patch I have more or less lost heart to play this game anymore.
The nerfing of shield hardeners and stopping the feature to harvest rats ( saving last rat to keep a continious flow of pirate spawns ) was bad in the sense of gameplay.
After the original Eve-Beta gameplay, everything seem to go straight downhill, bit by bit the fun parts of eve is removed or nerfed beyond recognition.
I really cared for this game once but the interest to play is diminishing with every patch version! ( How can this be ?? )
Has CCP lost contact with the original eve concept?
Im tired, very tired of how eve has evolved since BETA, and I have come to a point where I must reconsider if its actually worth the money spent on this game.

A number of people would argue that the original shield hardners might have resulted in very easy killing of pirates, but also resulted in complete stand-off battles for battleships in a pvp setting.
Why not list some things that you feel might improve your gameplay experience?
[yes, this would turn the thread into an indeas forum thread, but I'm willing to excuse that for reasonable feedback]

I too have been reconsidering the money and time spent on this game just to see old bugs resurface and other bugs like the stuck systems stump the devs over and over. It is becoming very discouraging. I've decided to see what happens in the near future and post every single bug I come across. I nearly fell out of my chair when lickspittle said he hadn't heard about some bugs in the Bug Compilation sticky post in this forum. I decided that wasn't going to be because I didn't post it hehe. Now there is no excuse. ------------------------------------------------ "The best defense is a dead opponent." - Avaton White

My feedback would be "Stuck systems bug needs highest priority bar none!" But that's just me hehe ------------------------------------------------ "The best defense is a dead opponent." - Avaton White

Staying positive is a good thing, focus on the real improvements in game play.
Other than the continuation of the stuck systems bug (which harms the GM's too, so obviously must be high on the priority fix list) and the much worse memory leak causing the game to lock up, the game as it is now is better than it was two months ago, and much better than the state after release.
(not to mention infinitely better than the late beta) |

I've been trying my hardest to stay positive but after tonights poor performance I'm really finding it heard to want to play. Up to the 1215 patch the game was stable and fun.
Now tonight I timed how long a command would take to take effect... normally its around 1 to 3 seconds... one command tonight took 2 mins 35 seconds to take effect lol. Now THAT'S lag!
And if you think it's my computer/network conn I should let you know Im on a Athlon 2800+ Barton with 512mb of 400MHz DDR RAM and a 1mb Cable Connection.

I've personally taken a couple of days to go about other stuff which usually get's left out cause of me playing to much... Then i don't need to feel to sorry about missing a couple of days of eve and the problems that arise after almost every patch.
