the lagg is several minutes between actual gate jumps
and forget battle.
can travel,blackholes,highways are blackhole wanabees.
just reboot the cluster,because we cant do crap like this.

For the love of God stop spamming the boards with this crap.
Nobody with the power to reboot the servers is sitting here reading these forums waiting for requests. All you're doing is bumping threads off the bottom of the page, and its hard enough coming up with decent threads on this board without them being scrolled off by pointless spam.

I think ppl have a right to post this stuff. I's disgraceful that they haven't rebooted already. In fact the whole patch is a total disgrace and ppl have every right to vent their feelings for this appaling mess. What we don;t need is fanbois making apologies for them - that way they think they are doing a top class job and continue feeding us bugs instead of fixes.

Well, they already know about the problems. And requests from individual players to "reboot" would be ignored even if anyone with the power to do it did read these forums. Hence, your wasting your time and space on the boards by posting this crap. End of stupid story.

It kinda feels like CCP has already given up fixing this game and just let it go down the drain.
At least that's what they want the customers to believe, since they don't even have the decency to give info about wtf is going on.
Rebooting server just because you don't know wtf is wrong? Sounds awefully like Microsoft and WindoZe.

What else do you want to know? What line of code the problem is on? What the developers are wearing? What their favorite foods are?

There was a post-patch update by Pann stating that many things went awry with the patch and that the Developers are working hard to fix them.
They have acknowledged that many players are becoming stuck, and are working to resolve the problem - this has been in news updates.
There are also plenty of posts in the Patch review forum discussing the ongoing problems.
If you want more information than that, get a job working for CCP.

Well, a game that doesn`t let you play obviously is not worth playing.
Until the fix is found, there should be an announced, regular reboot every two hours or something like that.

Plenty of people are not being affected by the problems facing some of the systems right now; I'm afraid a scheduled reboot would inconvenience more people than it would help.

So I'll go find another game to play if EVE dies. I played games before it, I'll play them after.
For now, I love EVE and I'm pretty confident it will survive even if it's without a few impatient players.

Actually it's 9.35 seconds of loading for a gate jump. At least for me.

The lag when I try to talk to my agent is awful though.
Probably I'm on a node with few people on it, so jumping doesn't take much time.
But the agents are handled by another node...or something.
