I know some of you might be aware of this but the market is indeed taxing you on your profit. I was told it would do this only on quick sell's but I confirmed it even on regular market sells just now. If anyone want to comment this I would be grateful, I think this is a serious bug.

umm, no, it's because even NPC corporations have an inherent tax rate. That's the amount they take as a percentage when you do any kind of business with them.

Thats just fine and dandy, but why isn't this documented anywhere? It could say in the sell window or elsewhere ...
Right now its not all that user friendly ...

I feel sorry for you, you went through all that trouble of making the pictures and text for someone to tell you that your corp is taxing you. If you want, I will send you 32k isk in-game, I'm SavX just eve-mail me :)

Thanks SavX, if you want to be really kind send me 10 mill so I get a few steps close to my BS.
And the taxing is not from my corp, we have no tax. Its from the NPC market and that is not covered in the manual as far as I can see.

Yes, there is a market tax of 0.3% (if memory serves me right) on everything you sell to NPCs. For that reason, be careful when you sell high priced items such as plutonium. The tax can easily take out a big chunk of your profit (0.3% of 13000 isk = 39 isk).
I don't know if it's documented anywhere, but the tax is not new. It has been there since the game started.

It's a 0.35% tax, yeah. I usually don't bother to calculate because the real amount is shown in the journal, but basically you just multiply the supposed price by .9965.
9,096,000 * .9965 = 9,064,164 |
