My sodding boss wont let me install the client on my work PC.
Something to do with "I spend enough time on those bloody forums".
CCP, please help!!!

CCP Help me to always give 100% at work...
12% on Mondays
23% on Tuesday
40% on Wendesday
20% on Thusday, and
5% on Friday.
Dont mind me I am just trying to catch up to DS and HK on the boards.... |

I'm between jobs right now until the SIA finally decide to send my license to me. Until then, I can't work as a security guard so I have to suffer with playing Eve all day long instead.

Apart from Mrs. Bl4zer, I am my own boss. And I won't let me install install Eve on my computer. So what jobs do you lot have that would allow you to play Eve at work without getting the boot? Or are you hoping that your cow-orkers carry you?

The client doesn't have to be installed though. You can copy it from any other machine and run it (as long as it has DirectX 9c and permission to execute the file).

Yes a 2gig flash drive works. I use a 120gig external hard drive at work.

+ it's harder to play eve when your broke from not havin a job.

Our work has a secure WiFi network that I can't long on to - tried. So the only way to get on is to hook up the laptop to the phone socket. This is a good solution because it:
a) gets you onto the forums
b) stops customers interrupting you whist you are doing something important like being on the forums.

Sadly the EVE client isn't something that can easily be disguised as "work".

i run eve off a 2gb pen drive at work only good for skill changes as eve font doesn't work on 4 and 16mb graphic cards and there the best i can find

buy a outside laying hdd that hooks up with a pc via usb and have eve installed there and play it from there
