How often do you get +3 implants on lvl3's storyline missions nowdays, say percent base?I remember back when i was running lvl3 missions about half the storylines offered a reward of +3 implant. Thanks in advance!

Maybe 20% of the level 3 storylines I got were mining missions, and they all handed out a +3 implant (mostly Cha though).
The others (Duel to the Death, Double Agent, etc.) didn't hand out implants.

Funny thing....I haven't gotten a +3 from an important, but i have gotten 2 +3s from varios pirates i've blown up. Just a random drop in a can i'm guessing, but 2 in 3 weeks isn't bad from regular missions.
I'm not the everyday missions runner though.

I've never gotten an implant from a can before... but I'd say I get implants from storylines about 33% of the time? That's a total guess... but it seems about right.

Edited by: Lorette on 19/05/2006 04:20:54 Got a +4 will last night from a 1 jump courier mission , and ITS RANDOM. Ive had a 10-15 storyline mission drought before (all 40k +40k bonus crap) then 2-3 implants in a row...
If your talking about normal level 3's portal to war sometimes drops an implant and ive got a snake implant of gone berserk before but thats about it, and ive run about 500+ lv3's.

I seem to be plagued with lvl1 importants from storyline agents that offer 50k ISK and thats it. I keep hearing about lvl2/3/4 important missions that pay much more and hand out implants like candy but I have yet to see one.
Is this a bug?
I have Caldari Navy standing at 9.94 so shouldn't I be getting a lvl4 important from a CN storyline agent?

It doesn't work by standings.
Here's how it goes, when you complete a certain number of a type of mission (l1, l2, l3, or l4) you get that level important storyline. Perfect example, yesterday I finished a l3 and a couple l4 missions, now I have a l4 storyline that I need to do, because I did enough l4s. I think it's 1 storyline / 15 missions but I'm not sure.
So if you only get l1 storylines it's because you're only doing l1 missions.
Krav ===== Close encounter of the Hijack kind? Impossible. Unless it is as bad as I think... And if they were out to get m-- |

Edited by: Lorette on 21/05/2006 23:46:17 Depending on the storyline mission you can get 40k payout even on a 'lv4' one. The implants only come up on the stupidly easy courier ones, whereas the fun, long combat ones usually give out crap ammounts of isk no matter what level you are. Best ive ever seen is about 180k payout and bonus. At least that i remember.
Storyline missions are there for one reason, boosting 'faction' standing. The fact that you can occasionaly get a decent implant is just a fringe benefit.
