I just I understood what the **** is going on here. I mean, why build an air-powered chick cannon? -------------- What good are actions if there's no one to tell the tale afterward?

Yarr, not cool. If it was bunny rabbits it would be ok, but cute little chicks? Hellz no dude. I'm pretty sure I saw a bunch of them on the ground not moving. I'm somewhat of a bird freak to begin with, but really, thats terrible treatment for any animal.

Actually the chicks arn't hurt buy this at all. It just looks mean. They're soft, and fluffy, and have wings. Its ushally not in a farmers best interest to damage the produce so that they can't sell it.

If thats the case then why the hell do you think there are such things as batteries?
Makes you wonder don't it......
My opinion is they shouldn't be treated so bad anyway, no I an not vegan or vegetarian but I do believe the "produce" is better if raised in a better environment, not like this.
Poor chicks

When all you people stop wearing your Nikes that are made by a 10-yr old in sweatshop in China, all your clothes that are made by 9-yr old in Taiwanese sweatshop, and stop cursing out and taunting the homeless guys who ask you for change, then you can tell me that a chicken catapult is inhumane. I figure it'll take about a month before some reality show based on a human-launching version of this machine comes out. I can't wait.

Err, well.
Is that real? Is it from a country that does not regulate cruelty to animals?
The chicks all look fine. Its possible that there's no problem with doing this to them. Maybe it's humane and we just think it looks cruel. Or maybe it is cruel, and it's from some crazy country.
If it is cruel, I'd love to meet the guys who invented and operate it so I could show them what flying through the air actually feels like.

you do realize though, that without those factories, those kids would probably be out robbing some store for food money instead of working for money? look at both sides of the issue.
