I was under the impression that cosmos agents gave everyone the same mission, but i realised today this isnt the case.
How many mission possibilites are there for each agent, and what affects which mission you are given?

How did you find this out ?
I have done alot of the Ani constellation agents twice and got the same missions from them.

I use my combat alt to help me run the missions, i accidentally spoke to Manel Kador (Amarr) with my alt, then realising my error I spoke to him with my main. Both were given completely different missions with very different rewards (1m isk vs +4 mem implant)
Id love to know what triggered this, and if there are other agents that give out alternate missions

That's odd. Maybe it has something to do w/ Race???? My friend and i(same race) have just started doing cosmos and we've received the same mission/reward for each one we've done. Only done about 8-9 missions so far, but i'd also like to know if anyone can confirm the reason behind the different reward.

The missions on them are fixed but the rewards can sometimes vary. It's not based on race, it's based on a loot table. The system chooses a random item within the loot table (sometimes with certain items having a greater chance of being chosen than others).

I know thats how its intended, but either it has been coded different to this or it is bugged. If you like I can upload screenshots and eve-mail them to you, are you interested in that?

To make this very clear, its not just a different reward, the entire mission is totally different.

Hmm send examples of that via a bug report, and we'll take a look at it. Name the agent, the missions and in what order you got them.
It's possible that some of them may have a couple missions that aren't directly linked, but it could also be a bug. I'd have to take a closer look to make sure.
