I'll keep it short, put thousand separators in it.
I've looked around and haven't been able to find a response on this (http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=1349690). We never deal with small numbers in Eve and never will. Stop making us use work calculators the tax man doesn't like it.

I would also like to see this happen - I'd also like CCP to add in the x10^a button so if I'm working in a mix of thousands and millions - I can just use x10^3 for the millions, nothing for the thousands, and then x10^3 at the end to get the actual value (if I haven't done that bit in my head already)
also - why don't we have logs, natural logarithms (ln), sine, consine, tangent, and their inverses if windows can do it - why can't EVE? For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... If your idea can be abused, it WILL be. |

I once had a graphical calculator which could display graphs -even in color. That would be neat. Another old calculator I had could be programmed in Basic. A combination of both would be great. Oh, another thing: Make the calculator programmable in Whitespace. Why? Because that's a fine programming language, far better then boring stuff like Java. |

Or just use an actual calculator, like your computer. |

that would require minimizing EVE - and as such unsuitable for on-the fly calculations in dangerous environments - such as WH's For posting an idea into F&I: come up with idea, try and think how people could abuse this, try to fix your idea - loop the process until you can't see how it could be abused, then post to the forums to let us figure out how to abuse it..... step 1: Alt + Enter
step 2: win. "What's worse than a foul-mouthed eight-year-old constantly claiming he's had relations with your mother? A foul-mouthed eight-year-old constantly claiming he's had relations with your mother who thinks he's a gangser, that's what." --áAaron Birch |

step 1 has just minimized my client..... step 2 - fail :( though if you've got a workaround, I'd love to hear it. hit ESC go to options activate window mode. hit the square on top bar to maximize window size.
you can now play eve, have access to real browser and calculator and ofc easily use excel spreadsheets :) "What's worse than a foul-mouthed eight-year-old constantly claiming he's had relations with your mother? I'm pretty antiquated when it comes to calculators. All this modern stuff just doesn't cut it. Remove insurance. |

Because that's a fine programming language, far better then boring stuff like Java. god, as long as any implemented graphing calculator had functions in more logical places than the Texas Instruments TI series, good lord those things were bad enough i learned to do most of my college calculus by hand, it was quicker.
but on that note, a college/professional level calculator would be nice, graphs and exponents and fractions and everything else under the sun you could want |
