Here is the end of the story:
Malka was a roleplayer.
A female serial killer is scarier than a male (typical) serial-killer.
Malka made the public believe he was a female to back up his roleplay and hopefully get you to feel a sense of danger, of fright, when she entered local.
He isn't creepy, he's not weird (though everyone is a little weird), he's just thoughtful.

Thats all ok, and i agree about the female vs male part.
But roleplaying is a consentual thing. I dont like someone roleplaying a psycho when im just being myself. Because that means im (falsely) thinking he is just being himself and thus IS psycho in real life. Thats my problem with this.
But then again im grown up enough to be cynical about most things in life, especially on the net, so its not really a problem for me. Im just saying how it looks to other non-rping people at that time.

The fake pictures were posted in a clearly OOC thread, where no one was roleplaying. Imho, thats not roleplaying, thats intentionally giving people a wrong impression about the player.
Nothing against Malka though, I kinda liked the guy.

Yes exactly. It was totally OOC, so hiding that kind of thing on "roleplaying" really doesnt work. He was a guy who had fun in others thinking he was a girl and a bit of a psycho perhaps (if the info in these threads are anything to go by). If that wasnt his intention, he should take a long hard look at where Malka's RP personality stops and his own begins.
Edit: to clarify: I didnt mean that he might be a bit of a pshycho, just that he had fun making others think so.. In case the comment above is misinterpreted.

For the fear of Malka to be real, people needed to be misled. Its what we do best. :)
For the record, Malka made an effort never to confirm or deny the character was a female. He never said 'Yes Im a girl' but when asked if he was a girl he would either tell the truth or simply post a picture and let you assume or decide for yourself.
He didn't go campaigning or whatever and would tell you the truth if you asked him.
... And thats pretty much all she wrote so mods should feel free to lock this thread, as well.
