posts like this make baby jesus cry. So what if the china cluster takes a little priority? In the long term it will better serve us; the capital raised from the China cluster will be pumped right back into tranquility. We will get any expansions before they do (Presumably to give time for poltically correct edits to be made). Yes, for a few months patches arn't as frequent as they are meant to be, but as said in the dev blog, this is nearly done.

yes - we can wait!
Why? I dont play EvE just for a month - i want to see a future for CCP and EvE.
As soon as China runs stable - i'm shure we will see a boost in development and quality.
Cheers, Tresh

I do wonder tho.
If CCP makes more money in china, yet will continue to apply the same patches to both worlds (as stated in the dev blog), which server curlture will the changes be tailored to then ?
Will we get changes we dont ask for because the china server feels taht a quadrupling of the lvl 4 mission templates is in order and have siz gazzillion subscribers to put pressure with ?
You may see money coming out of serenity andused for tranquility, but who says we'll actually be glad of the extra impulse it might give to TQ ?

Actualy.....
It's pretty rank tbh when a dev tells you last year to wait for kali for features that have been drawn up... but the programming team responsible for bashing them into the code are busy on eve china....
Same dev pops in this year and says they arn't comming in because (i presume) those same programmers are busy on eve china...
Quote:
"There are designs in place for all 3 but unfortunately not enough programmer support. I really can't comment further on this as it's up to management to allocate resources to make things happen"
It's poor form tbh, i couldn't give a stuff about eve china.

We didnt ask for anything new, we ask to finish with the existing first.

Ok, everyone start bonking. We need more people.
Or, maybe, with millions of accounts there would be more money to pay for more developers to develop more stuff more quickly. So in the end we get the new stuff quicker. Save the Ubar asteroids

This is the only thing I'm really concerned about vis a vis EvE China - Limited programming resources will be spent on the largest revenue stream - that's business. Consequently EvE will (without a strong vision) be driven nearly exclusively by the wants of the China market share.

Then we can look forward to fantastic mission and NPC based expansions.
